So I noticed when I was feeding my pets the night before that they were all at 10. Come early morning, though, when I checked on them again, their hunger was down to 4. I feel as though the rate hunger goes down is too fast and needs to be adjusted. Especially when compared to the happiness meter; that seems to go a lot slower than hunger (My pets are still at 10 even after a whole day). Maybe hunger and happiness could have the same rate? Some other pet sites I know do that. Feel free to ignore this suggestion if you feel that the hunger rate is fair!

This isn't necessary, imo. If anything, I'd like pets to get hungry faster!

A lot of people are going for the gourmand achievement, which takes a really long time with the current hunger rate. On average, pet hunger drops from ten to zero every 12-24 hours, depending on how lucky you get.

If you feel your pets are getting hungry too quickly for you to keep up, you can always put them in the Lakeside Resort.

Also, heads up: minions keep your pets at 10/10 happiness forever.

Basically what I was about to write. If you don't want to feed your pet, you can put it in the resort anytime.

Also just a note that you don't necessarily need to keep your pets fed all the time either, if you don't want to. Really the only thing you can't do if your pets are hungry is you can't battle, so if you're not interested in battling then it won't really affect you to leave them hungry if you don't want to bother with the resort. They won't starve or have anything bad happen to them if they're not full and happy all the time.

There is plenty of free and/or cheap food available if you feel bad about your pet(s) being hungry and don't want to use the resorts.

In addition to the gourmand achievement, there are also many more food achievements that are already a pain with the current hunger balance.
