The end of term is less than a week away! Around this time of the term, we reopen some of our HA challenges to those who hadn't had the chance to attempt them. There will be no bonus points awarded for this challenges since they are reopened challenges.

HA Challenge - Wizarding Vocations Welcome to a new term! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Miss Lindsey Kain, the caretaker here at Hogwarts. Whether first or seventh year, it's never too early to start thinking about what you want to be after you leave school. Some of you might choose to pursue jobs in the Muggle world which is just fine, but today we are going to be looking at some of your options should you choose to take your talents to a career in the magical world.

This week's theme is Wizarding Vocations.

Your challenge this week is to create a Human Avatar depicting a job in the Wizarding World.

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) NO SCHOOL UNIFORMS. Your HA represents a career after education. 2.) Please include the career of your HA.

HA Challenge - Common Room Downtime "Oh, look...students...yay." The man shifted uncomfortably. He seemed unaware he was speaking aloud. He fumbled with a note card. "Headmistress Persnickety said I had to interact with you...So er yeah... hi. I'm Jasper Cassidy, the new librarian... I've seen some of you already, coming into the library and checking out my books. Probably getting them dirty as we speak too..." He had a nervous twitch as he clapped his hands awkwardly to get himself back on topic. "So..." he said reading from the card, "how is everyone settling in after your first week? Hope you are all enjoying your classes and all. So I'm sure you've had some downtime in your common rooms already. Nice and safely far away from the library..."

This week's theme is Common Room Downtime.

Your challenge this week is to create a Human Avatar depicting an activity your student does in their time off in the common room.

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) NO SCHOOL UNIFORMS. Your HA represents downtime within your house's common room. 2.) Please include the activity they are performing. 3.) Must be indoors in the common room.

HA Challenge - Potions Detention Ah, about time! I expect you to be punctual when the reason I have to wait is your detention. Your punishment is to clean out the dirty cauldrons, no magic whatsoever. Be sure to wear protective gloves, there are remnants of all sorts of things like horned toad bowels, pickled rats' brains, and rotten Flobberworms in there. I want these cauldrons clean enough to serve pumpkin juice out of!

This week's theme is Potions Detention.

Your challenge this week is to create a Human Avatar depicting your student serving a detention for Professor Mathers.

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) NO SCHOOL UNIFORMS. You're not in class and you wouldn't want to dirty it. 2.) Please include a cauldron in your HA. 3.) Please depict your HA wearing gloves. (I was inspired by this list of detentions students have served at Hogwarts. Mathers isn't as harsh as Snape!)

Each member may submit one avatar per challenge, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge will earn 10 House Points! Please note this is only for members that have not already submitted avatars for these challenges previously.

These reopened challenges will end on Saturday, February 17th at 11:59PM!
