Item scode stacks tall on user profile

Sorry, I didn't know how to describe this. When using a blank section on my profile to put the scode of items, the items just end up in a tall stack, one per line, instead of being side by side as I had written them. They're also missing wishlist and hover info, though that may be intentional.
For example I've done this:
and on my profile the items show as one per line, taking up way more room than I wanted it to.
edit to add: I took off my code so it's a default profile, and the same issue occurs.

This is not a glitch; it's a side effect of the fact that user profiles don't use the same header and footer as the rest of the site. You can fix it with profile code.
