1. Toggle Sidebar button
If you'd like to hide it, you can use this CSS:-toggle-button{display:none;}
2. Removed the page balancer
Previously, we had some JavaScript that would "correct" the heights of the content and sidebar. This script would slow down pages. We've removed this script and tweaked the page layout so that the background extends to the bottom with just CSS.
The main change here: The sidebar and content of each page now exist in a div with the id main-content.
The specific fix for your pet profile depends on your code. If you need more help, please make a topic in this forum about your issue.
Finally, a note about pet profiles. Whenever the site layout is changed, however small the change is, it can/will affect pet profiles. This is because pet profiles use the same layout as the rest of the site, unlike user profiles which have their own "blank slate". The way it's set up right now, it's inevitable. However we sympathize with the confusion and frustration this can cause, so we are looking into a better solution / ways to prevent or mitigate this. I just wanted to let you know that it's something the team is aware of and looking into.
Feel free to ping me with any questions.

Could give ping me with the link to update suggestion list? Thanks!
I kinda like that toggle sidebar, especially when you are refreshing the page and it has to load the avatar and that takes a bit of time.

Awesome, thanks for the update! Also, can't wait for the viewport tag, though an opt-in for pet profiles would probably be better for pet profiles. The only solution I can think of is moving them to a different subdomain, but that's probably a bad idea that'll make things worse in the long run xD
Thanks for the update. Love the Toggle Sidebar. :)

What was the question?
I see how the Toggle Sidebar button would be useful, but I still have to hide it with CSS because on very small screens (like my ipad mini) it squishes the top menu to two rows, which in turn bumps the whole page content lower and things are in awkward places and there's more scrolling. Hiding the sidebar would help here, but then I can't find anything on this site :D
That's the reason behind this item on the to-do list:

love, love, love the sidebar toggler. I tend to vend in one narrow window while I read other stuff in a bigger window and it makes that so much easier.
The majority of my pet profiles obviously just broke, simple as that and the code in the OP doesn't help. At all. I am not a coder so I have no idea what's wrong and how to fix it. I also have 86 pet profiles to look over so, even if someone can give me a code to fix the issues, it's going to take me hours to go through this chaos.
Sorry but at this point I really cannot force myself to feel excitement about any recent or upcoming layout changes, I feel like having logged right into a nightmare...
liking the toggle, but looking forward to the drop-down fixess so they don't mess with each other, and for all the other reasons mentioned above! so in the meantime, thank you for the CSS to hide it away :)
all in all, awesome updates! thank you for all the work you guys are doing behind the scenes! ❤

Thanks for the update! Looking forward to the menu improvement.
I used to be able to click in the left area of the theme header by the word "subeta" above the sidebar and be taken to the News page (I think the link was just for subeta.net but that effectively translated into the news page). That clickable area seems to be gone now - is that related to this update and is there any way for it to be returned?
Thank You for the update :-)
It's time to get real and inspired!
Question Everything
-content {background-image: none;}
posted this in another thread, and you just need to include it within your style tags. That sure is a lot of profiles to have to update, but I hope this helps you out.
Thank you so much! I will try the code as soon as I am back on my computer.
no need, I just added it to the pet profile page so check your profiles :)

Some of my simple profiles look normal again but the more complex ones are still broken like nothing.
Sorry about your profiles. I have 29 pets and I've created profiles for a lot of them too. So far the pets I have done extensive work on don't seem to have their profiles adversely affected; the only change is that centered text has been aligned to the left now.
Because the site has these updates from time to time, I wonder if it's better to make very simple profiles to avoid spending a great deal of time on revisions if the coding gets messed up.
DreamSample and OshaCloud
are examples of the simple profiles I'm talking about.

Okay, glad it helped for some of them! For the others, you can make a post in this forum to ask for help.
