well ive been working on tis story ad it containes mostly fairies and other supernatural creatures. i was wondering if i would seem to over done if i had Puck (midsummer's) come in, but have gotten kicked out of the light court years ago, and now is part of the dark court, masquerading as a highschool goth that is always getting introuble. any help would be awesome.

Although it's an interesting character to develop, I have seen Puck "masquerading" as countless people in fantasy novels and series. I do however believe that something overdone can be developed into a newer concept that distinguishes itself from all of the other ideas. Don't limit yourself because "it's already been done". Simply think of a brilliant way it could be "redone". Good luck with your story! =)
