I am, of course, referring to the characters created by The Pokemon Company. (Naturally, all artwork & characters referenced here are their property.) While each creature they create is something new and different, you can often see RW influences on them. It is no mistake that ponyta looks like a pony. I do think that sometimes they maybe miss the mark a bit and I love to think of other things the pokemon look like. Am I the only one who sees a goalie mask in aron?

Stunfisk looks like someone rolled out some dough for cookies but decided to add a derp face instead and call it a Pokemon... XD

Scyther looks more like a dragon to me (with blade arms) ... I wish it had a dragon/bug typing to be honest.

Alolan Persian looks like Nermal from Garfield, crept all grown up.... and spoiled rotten.

Wish I was funnier... I need to look at Pokemon more.

One drawing on deviantART had brought up that Seaking looks like those cartoon caricatures of Peter Lorre, with that sort of "greasy hair" and the bug eyes. I've been naming my Seakings "Lorre" ever since thanks to that, it still hasn't shaken from my mind. XD

Also, Vileplume is literally a rafflesia, aka a corpse flower. Have fun with all the flies it attracts and the smell of decay while walking around with it...
