I really like feeding these poor lil guys; but popping bubbles seems to be so rare that it's like it never happens.

I think that if we aren't going to be able to rescue them from the bubbles through popping that perhaps we could earn points for feeding and then use those points to take them home or have a shop were we could use points for a rescue fee.

I also had the idea were there could be a happy hour or minion popping days were at certain times of day or certain day of the month it would become alot easier to pop. At the very least there could be a minion pop count down where once a certain amount of minions were feed there would be a minion pop.

Anything that would give a face lift to this game. There has to be some cost effectiveness than to feed 1000s minions with no gains other than an achievement. I welcome any thoughts or ideas that I might not have come up with to be added to this.

Yeah, I've always thought the rate of popping bubbles was really low. I've got 3,663 minions fed and only a small handful of minions from that. A rate of something like 0.1% is too low.

No Support.

It's around one in seven hundred in my experience, so it's not never. This game is not meant to be cost effective. The Achievement is not intended to be easy, or rewarding in any other way than getting it.

Not everything has to be super easy. Not all Achievements need to fall in the user's lap.

I think that the likelihood of minion popping should be increased some. I don't think that it should be common at all, but the possibility of it happening is definitely a draw to Trapped Minions. I notice that now only a handful of people feed them now, and think that raising the rate (or some other incentive or update) would cause more people to play.

I didn't even know you could pop the bubbles.:o At the moment the only reason why I feed them is because major drills requests it often.

I've popped two (maybe three?) in 1,591 minions fed and the last one that popped for me was years ago. I wouldn't support a huge increase but 1:500-700 is hella rare, a small bump would be a nice way to increase interest in the feature without taking away from the challenge of the achievements.

I actually like that it is rare. I have fed 2083 minions and I think I actually popped 2 bubbles but I do not mind. I only do it for Drills and I actually would hate if people were in there all the time feeding them because it sucks when you buy the food to feed one and someone else already fed it. If rates were increased then more people would be feeding them, making the drill task that more annoying.

There needs to be a revamp of some sort. How many people actually feed other than for the achievement (and even then) or Major Drills.

The thing about Neopets' kadoatery (sp) is that there is competition (although, I still don't see the draw after the avatar). Here I can go feed 100 minions in an hour and it's really just me throwing money away.

Since making this post I have feed an additional 900 to 1000 minions with no pops! I would really love a little more transparency. I had suggested above for a counter that would show how many minions have been feed, and since the last pop. Even if you feed a minion and it was startled and ran away!

The issue with this is the trapped minions weren't made for drills quests. You could just skip them if the minions were too busy, like I skip slots (or drills all together usually). Making drills harder shouldn't be a reason to not change the way minions work. It shouldn't have any weight on the situation.

I support this idea :) It's a fun, cute thing to do and I think bumping up how often the bubbles pop would be a positive change. This was actually one of my favorite games when I started because I love silly lil minions. But after awhile it's just repetitive with little pay off.
