Error Entering New Pet Name

I got the following error message while trying to create a new pet:

Quote

Your new pet name must be alphanumeric! You are not allowed any special characters except for the underscore(_)

...except the name didn't have any special characters :( It was two words with a space in between, but that is still allowed, isn't it?
