Stop them from being asked for in quests. My last wizard quest “The Old Wizard's Quests Hurry now, you wouldn't want me to die of old age before you make it back with these items!

Not only do I miss my quest point but the bonus 50wizard token too. This happens three or four times a week getting asked for new items.

I think the name of this board should probably be changed to something like "Quests requesting new items" - right now it's pretty vague, and likely to get glossed over.

The suggestion of making sure shopkeepers can't request new & unbuyable items is a good one. I think I've seen staff respond in past with something along the lines of it being just bad luck based on item rarity. (Or perhaps I'm wrong, and it's actually unintentional that these items got mixed into the pool.)

I think missing out on a quest because the items are literally unbuyable is unfair to the users. Yes, yes, it's just one quest... But it shouldn't be happening at all. And in circumstances like the above, that one quest lost means a loss of 70 wiz tokens.

No support. We're not supposed to gain on every quest, it's kind of a gamble. Doing all quests gives about 4 mil pure sP, not counting selling the prizes. Losing 150k sP in tokens is not such a big loss in comparison. Also, getting those new items as quest prizes is pretty sweet, so it's only fair we're asked for them sometimes too.

Staff always pass over these suggestions when they come up since it's just due to rarity and tough luck etc, but there really should be something put in place to stop quest givers asking for items that aren't in user shops at all. Skipping over a quest because the items are too expensive, sure, the user has to make a choice there, but having to skip a quest because it just can't be completed is a bit much.

I really hate it when quest givers ask for new items. I also hate it when they ask for rare items needed for achievements, which are generally also ridiculously expensive.

That said, I still don't think staff needs to do anything about it. I think its fair that not all quests can be completed.
