I don't know if this can be done nor if anyone suggested but do you know how we have a "back to top" button at the bottom of the forums? I think it'd be wise to have a "move to bottom" (or somewhere along those lines) button at the top of the forum (particularly handy for topics that are 1+ pages long). Unless there's a ping cause it'll just move to the pinged post lol, but I sometimes have to scroll allllll the way down to the very bottom on the long forums to post. I know on neo if there's a new page the last posted time at the far right will be clickable so you can just click on it to the very last post :) so I think this feature should be implemented to here :D

If you're viewing a page that lists the topics in a certain forum (such as this page, for example), there are the little chat bubble icons that will take you to the newest post in the thread since the last time you looked at it (or the first post if you've never looked at the thread before). That's similar to one of the things you mentioned.

But if you're just looking to reply in a thread without having to scroll through all of the posts, at the top of the thread there's a "Reply to post" link that will take you to the bottom of the page where the reply box is.
