Okay sorry if my forum title doesn't make sense cause idk how to phrase it, so let me explain by example lol.

So I decided that I wanted the Dual-Natured Snow Fairy for one of my pet's TCs.

That's when I realized that I have had this problem quite often. It even happened earlier this week when I figured out an item was available in the New Years Shop, but I had no idea which year it was released and had to click through all the tabs to find it. I also have come across this problem in the past with shops like Esther's (for Vesnali), L'amour Parlor, Steamworks Menagerie, Antique Shop, etc. Now granted, I just realized that I goofed and should've used the Find function...but I don't always think of doing that, obviously lol. I would've had to use that function on every page until I found it, anyway.

So my suggestion and question is, is it possible to have the hyperlink you see on a shop search bring you to the exact page/tab that that item would be found on? I know it's not like, a huge deal because you'll find it eventually if you just search around the shop for it, but I think it would be quite convenient.

If Quentin wants me to buy a Zombie Den item from 2013 for a quest, the Zombie Den link on shop search for that item should take me to the 2013 tab.

Poking through ALL of the tabs is annoying. You wait for one tab page to load, only for the shop to go "this is not the tab you are looking for". And there's no way in hell anyone can remember on the spot which item was released in which year for ALL of the holiday shops.

If this isn't possible, displaying the year the item was released in the shop search link would also help. Ex.: Zombie Den (2012), or Esther's (2016)

i believe this has been suggested before but staff said it wasn't possible to program. it would definitely be preferable and idk if that is still definitely the case but... for now i just check subetalodge for everything which is kind of tiring but whatever i guess.

If you can't get to work, could you at least make it so the Shop Search tells us which year the item is in? Even if I'm not taken to the correct year, it still saves a lot of time if I know which year to look in instead of guessing.

Glad to hear this is being looked into! If it can't all be done for this week's sprint, then maybe it's something that can be saved to go back to for a future one.

It's definitely something that would be appreciated, because I've run into this myself a few times with Quentin asking for Zombie Den or Masquerade items. It would be nice to automatically be taken to the correct tab when clicking on the link to the shop.

I'd definitely take the alternative of something among the lines of "This item can be found in these locations: Esther's (2012)" if my original idea isn't possible, like what and suggested.

It would definitely save time, especially whenever the pages take a while to load due to my wifi acting up on me!

If it's not possible, the only other (way more tedious) alternative would possibly be to add the years into the item descriptions. :'| That sounds like a nightmare, esp for huge shops like the menagerie and lounge, so I'm reallyreally hoping an easier way is possible!

Yes, I would find this so helpful. Hopefully it will be able to be applied to all tabbed shops.

This would be a heavenly addition. Not only for Quest shops, but for all the holiday ones as well! I often find myself pulling up a SubetaLodge tab just to figure out the year, as ctrl+f on all the page is tedious as well!

This really is a great idea! In the interim what I do is search the item at the SubetaLodge as the year is given in the decription then I go back and find it that way. It's still a bit of a pain but when you're questing and there are time limits it at least saves some time! :D
