I've asked around and talked to people every now and again and its come to light that a lot of users come to Subeta to relax after work or what have you. I'm really starting to think that it's that very mentality that drives this community into what it is.

So, that being said, are you one of these people? And, for my curiosity's sake, if you are then what exactly is it about Subeta that's relaxing to you? Is it not having to think, perhaps? Seeing progress towards some goal you've set for yourself? Friends, or just pleasant people to make light conversation with? Or is there something else?

I play to relax. Mostly I think it's because I can kind of be in my own little world for a while and not think about anything while I goof around and restock and do quests and the like.

i'm not even sure why subeta's so relaxing to me tbh?? it just is haha ;;

but i think a lot of it is just the whole idea of setting myself goals and slowly working towards them?? especially when it comes to pet-related stuff because i love working on my pets :' D and i also love talking to people!! the community is really chill and nice~

I certainly do, watching the vault sP sums grow towards my ongoing goal of MC pet slots. Also being arbitrarily low in my shop, I can't get away with that IRL. Making my HA is amusing, I might want to make as inhuman an HA for no reason.

For now, I'm with ample free time. And the prospect for 2018 might make me be even more appreciative of what time I can afford.

Old, and obsolete.

I guess I use Subeta to have something to do when there's downtime at work. At home it's a great de-stresser for me.

Thank you all for responding. I'll admit some of these responses were a tad more enlightening than others, but it's all appreciated.

I would say for sure this site is a big stress reliever for me. I have made a few friends and I always look forward to talking to them and sending them gifts. I also love my pets and drawing art and coding profiles for them always inspires me.

I find it relaxing to be able to move at my own pace. I can do things to feel super accomplished (achievements, pets, etc.) when I'm frustrated in RL or I can just be alone, quiet, and not have to deal with anyone or anybody.

I play to relax, like everyone else has said so far. The game is fun; I can work towards random small goals without having to feel bad for how long it may take me XD

My only frustration is how much it costs to get any artwork of pets nowadays... it really makes me not feel the point in working on my pets anymore :/ Trying to get back into it but that's my only complaint after having been gone for a few years on/off.

I come here to relax. and to procrastinate. i also like how easy it is to reach my goals - keeps me a bit inspired for real-life goals >.> [i get easily unmotivated sometimes]

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
