I just finished watching the fourth season. I was so pissed when there were only six episodes, which, I guess there's always six, but I sat down to watch it and realized I was done and ughhhh, I want the fifth season nooooowwww.

My parents hate it when I watch it because they say all it is is 'sex and swearing' lol. Yes, there's quite a bit of both, but I don't care about that part. I like the storylines. They're just so thought-provoking and interesting. It's never just the format of boy and girl meet and fall in love after knowing each other for a half hour shite they normally shovel at us.

Any other fans here? Favorite episode? Any other similar shows to recommend?

Season 1 - Entire History of You Season 2 - White Christmas (but Be Right Back was so good) Season 3 - Shut Up and Dance Season 4 -Black Museum

Season 3 was really strong imo and I loved almost every episode.

I like it too. My favorite episode is White Christmas. The series features really strong actors and Jon Hamm is amazing.

I don't see the show as overly vulgar, but maybe you can show them some reviews if they care about critical acclaim and favorable perspectives from reliable sources? Perhaps your parents will become more trusting as you become older. Mine were pretty involved when I was in high school but they became more confident in my independence once I went away for college. Good luck with them!

I would strongly recommend Get Out by Jordan Peele and Being John Malkovich by Spike Jonze.
