Hello! I've been working with my set as is, however I'm starting to run into snags. I still cannot beat the Prodigy, however I've almost gotten 10 wins on Maleria's Familiar. I've been able to take care of Flamagia and Sophie, though other opponents are causing difficulty... I'm 700 stats away from tier 12 and 71 impossible tokens away from the Volatile Component.
Anway, here is my set:
What are your suggestions for improvements? I'm obviously working toward the mecha and I do have a second Intricate Energized Helmet in reserve so that I can use both, but I'm open to suggestions. My scrolls are: x3
Still having issues finding ways to improve intelligence, but my AP is 77.
So the impossible/high T11/T12 challengers require less a generic set - you'll find weapons tailored to each specific opponent to be more useful. This guide has some great challenger-specific suggestions for weapons, though it might a little outdated and doesn't contain some of the newer opponents.
The best thing you can do, though, is keep training - challengers like Prodigy are more about out-powering than out-maneuvering.
That said, I would make a few changes right off the bat. As your health gets higher, I think you'll find that you get more use out of a second full healer rather than the IH bomb - Reviver of the Lion is a great addition to your PQuill. Also, I do find that full blockers are really more of a niche usage, and for longer battles especially you will, once again, get more use out of an alternative weapon. Amulet of Drakkonis is a great 50% or 100% healer, and I find it to be more useful than a full blocker as my health climbs higher. Some other alternatives might be Core of the Island and Captured Eternal Flame - depending on your stats, they can be useful on niche occasions.
You might consider replacing your Recycle Blaster with Soma Tablets - the blessing/curse it offers is a slight benefit but might make a difference between a tight win and a loss.
The last thing I'll add is that you will find freezing scrolls to be infinitely useful at this stage. Shriek of Despair along with the newest one you can craft with the new loot drops will become a necessary part of your arsenal.
Let me know if you need clarification for anything or some more suggestions!
Natasha is one of the most expensive full blockers, so it's good that you've got that out of the way now. Also, what mod crystals do you have on your weapons? Those could also make a huge difference in swaying battles in your favour!
I still have singed and parched on most of my weapons, so you're good on that front. I was thinking about toying around with some of the elemental crystals to add some extra damage/defense, but it doesn't seem worth it to lose the freeze protection in any scenario, so I think you're good with parched and singed for now.
Prodigy immediately became easy for me to beat 5 times when I bought natasha and was still early T12. I also used the helmet, energized mecha, rb, soma, pquill, reviver and sierrac basal ice flail. Once you can win MW, he will be a piece of cake and a piece of cake for any future pets that can use MW right away. The flail should get you buy for now. Natasha's bullets are super useful to use to give you more block while he's frozen. The best strategy is to freeze him for as long as you can so he can't crit you to death.
is super useful against mama forj and any time you need a magma block before you make cronus. Also blocks ice
- great earth block - cheaper wind block than the trident, but I prefer the trident for the blessing/curse
My list goes on and on, but the weapons really depend on who you are trying to beat. Which challengers in particular, other than prodigy are giving you problems?
Caps and prak will probably be the next challengers you take on. You could also probably get a couple wins on the mage as well. Meatslab is around a mid T12 challenger and baenwurath is a ways away.
Prak deals mostly light and dark, but will throw in some physical as well at times. The most annoying thing with him is his curses that limit you to only one weapon. Freezing scrolls are best for him. I really liked using since it is an infinite use chance freezer. The best thing to blast are his solar flares that boost his strength and make him more deadly towards the end so you will want and
The best weapons for him are and . ME and AU would be preferred.
The mage is obnoxious because of that stupid kill all tome or his healing tome of BS. Of things to blast, you will definitely want to blast the end all tome, or just hope he doesn't use it that battle. Before I had a cronus blade, I used and energized mecha. The mage can steal and favors his earth tome so OHS is really good for him. Once you have a cronus blade, you will want that instead of the syringe so you can just keep boosting.
CAPS does physical, dark , light and ice mostly. He can also disable scrolls. wouldbe good for him, but it is not an easy to find weapon. Any of these other weapons would work for him as well
