I find that I always have a large surplus of Vesnali coins at the end of each Vesnali. It would be great if we could get a few more expensive items added as we go. Things like stat boosters or maybe weapons, more books... etc. Maybe adding a large amount coin that we can buy (like the steamworks trinket bags in the lounge) that would allow us to gift them to others without having to do it in groups of 10.

In the 2017 tab, the most expensive items are only 20 coins. In 2012 however there are 3 items that are 100 coins and around 50 items over 50 coins each. I get the idea of making the items more easily obtainable for the users who are less active, but I personally have bought out every year and have a hoard of extras to give as gifts and I'm still sitting on 15k vesnali coins.

Horns and tails with various flower clusters in them, wings too if it can be done properly.

Butterfly hair clips in various precious stone colors, and the like.

More flower rings for both fingers and toes~

Flower covered blades, bows, any weapons with flowers on them be it real or carved and dyed.

Might come back to this.

I don't like the idea of more expensive items, since I'm still trying to play catch-up when it comes to the holiday shops. New users have to catch up on all years, including the expensive years, so the less-expensive stuff in newer years lets new users catch their breath. It's not just making the newer stuff accessible for those who aren't as active but for those who have eight years of things to look through too.

A coin purse or something does sound good to me though.

I'd like to agree. I'm playing catch up on new years items as I've collected very little over the years, but that's not other users faults. Not every item should be obtainable to every user right away otherwise everything is worthless. I think having a range of prices will give people things to work towards. Some holidays I do bare minimum because I don't care about buying out everything - I'd never use half of it anyway - and I know there are people who will buy out the shop and the items will be cheap anyway

Yeah, but there are 5 other stats.

exactly. When I was new, I worked on the oldest stuff first in case it retired. I can see both sides of it as Avel pointed out all the back items.

I just want a way to spend up my VC that will be useful. :P

You need sixteen INT to make one AP, so this booster uses up VC really fast. I'm not against other boosters being put in there, only that it is easily possible to spend 15KVC on that one alone.

Selling them would be useful to those who are newer than you. Currently they are selling for around four times the sP they would sell around the holiday. Undercut and make someone happy, and for yourself sP is always useful.

Normally I'd fully support that, I'm relatively new and yet, Vesnali coins are given out in such big amount I was able to catch up with all years' items in just 2 events. But: what if next Vesnali brings up bouquet making in the same messed up form, and maybe even with new bouquets to make, which makes people hold on to their flowers and not generate coins. Adding super expensive items to that might end up really frustrating.

Vesnali coins are not really given out in such a large amount so much as a whole ton of flowers got dropped into the economy last year and instead of dropping specifically needed for bouquets flowers they were random so even more were dropped. I have a fuck ton of them stored away that other users are selling cheap I've been buying all year. For any new bouquets that use old flowers, I am totally ready.

For all that all y'all are saying that there's a surplus, what you mean is there's a personal surplus for you. Because if the problem was general, Vesnali Coins would not cost anywhere near what they are selling for now. Not every user is like all y'all where they hang on tenaciously to items that they do not value, they sell them instead on the open market so they can get things they do value.

The OP talks about buying boosters by "using up" lots of VC. The cost to buy the VC to get +1 INT from the Esther Shop item is four times the sP cost to buy just about any other kind of INT booster, and you can get even more of the other five stats of boosters for the same sP cost. So either they are being disingenuous, or they are currency speculators. Subeta doesn't need to help anyone do either of these things.

I think higher priced items and more of them is a good idea. Not just for those that host contests and have extras. I see people all the time offering to buy things for others. Stat boosters would be nice, as well as more Hugh end wears.

i wouldn't mind some of the wearables being more expensive so long that's a minority, since bouquets will make obtaining coins kind of a pain (assuming bouquets are coming back, anyway)... but i don't see a point in esther having more single-stat boosters when the battle shop has single-stat boosters (level, strength, health, def, speed), and those are basically free?

In regards to item costs, I am so behind on Vesnali Coins that I can't fathom having bought out everything and still have thousands of coins left over.. >_<

As for items ideas.. maybe some stuff related to the 1st wedding anniversary to celebrate Esther and Emma getting married?

tbh one of my favorite items from last year was so I would love to some wedding anniversary items this year! or perhaps something honeymoon related? some folks don't get to go on their honeymoons until the year anniversary anyway so... that could be a thing? (I don't remember exactly what esther and emma had planned)

more suggestions ❤️ I would love to see more growable beanbags, another highlight from last year (ex: ) ❤️ geodes & precious stones (ex: interest: Geodes, Rocks, Gems, Precious Stones) ❤️ more wearable bicycles (ex: interest: bicyles maybe~?) ❤️ I'm so glad we received some succulents the last two years (ex: ) I would love to see more, maybe in wreath or wall form (ex1, ex2) ❤️ & I would also like to see more cacti and maybe a punny cactus shirt or tacky cacti printed wears (ex1 ex2)
The flower meaning of the succulent is understated, enduring and timeless love. The color green supports balance, harmony, love, communication, nature and acceptance. A cactus actually symbolizes endurance as it is a plant that can really stand up to the test of time and the elements. THINGS TO THINK ABOUT~

On an end note, I don't mind seeing a wide range in pricing in esther's shop but I prefer the expensive things to be wearable only or not have multi uses at least (please) :S

I need to learn how to read..... anyway more suggestions from me.

Glasses with cute animal decor on the corners. Like ducks, rabbits, sheep, etc.

The Rosea bands and drapes idea, except change the Rose into other flowers, like sunflowers, daisies, etc.

Drinks fashioned after flowers, either in flower styled bottles and glasses, with punny names, or drinks infused with flowers for interesting flavours.

Congratulations on having the time, years of experience, and friends so that you have extra coins during vesmali. :) I doubt many users can say that. I will admit I like to keep a "stash" jic I need to grab something for a birthday or other occasion. But I hear what you are saying. I have found myself with a surplus at times as well.

I have an alternative suggestion. Instead of trying to get more expensive things added or prices raised -- which hurts poorer and less experienced users -- how about you spread the wealth? Maybe send some newer users things off their WLs that they otherwise couldn't afford? Perhaps there could even be an achievement for giving to others anonymously? I find that every year, every holiday, simply helping a few friends get a few items takes care of any extra currency I would otherwise have.

There also is the great feeling I get from helping someone else -- whether I do it anonymously or not. Personally, I find that happy feeling is worth more than anything I could ever buy at a shop.

I live in MN, and whatever you've heard... It's much worse.

I do use my currencies up during holidays and birthdays on others. I have probably given more than I bought myself honestly. I still have so many. With other holiday shops, I don't have the issue with a large surplus and I find that they do have more expensive items yearly.

I've only been here 6 years, and I am still playing catch-up on many things I want to have. I do understand being unable to get certain things right away. I'm working 64 hours a week and I barely fit in a few hours a day here. I like that things retire less often to give less active players a chance to grab everything. Like I said Esther's shop is the only place I have so many extra. I thought it would be a nice suggestion to have a few items yearly that are a little more expensive or can be used up like stat boosters and such.

I second this. I started just putting them in my vault and not turning them all in so that I can use them to send to others.

Higher priced items aren't a good idea but cashing out Vesnali coins (using items like the Steamworks Trinkets bags) would be nice.

I'd like to see more knitting, crochet, and needlework items.

Anything with lambs, chicks, goats, piglets, honeybees, and bunnies works with the theme too.

A Chocolat reference? That's my favorite Easter movie/book.
