naked mushroom aesthetic is cool though. I haven't had time to look through all the clothing options yet but a humanoid mushroom creature look might or might not also be in my sights

Custom wearables have limited availability. I'm not big on the CW market myself, but if you familiarise yourself with the market, you can find out if the item was a limited or private release, or if the person who made the CW does multiple releases.

You can also keep an eye on trades, people's wishlist (There is a function to search wishlist under Personal on the top nav bar) as some users keep items they own on their WL for trading purposes :)

thanks for the answer! I found a couple of some items in peoples' galleries but that's about it. I'll do whatever it takes to obtain the items I want though.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but re-arrange the order items 'layer' on your HA by dragging and dropping the order the items appear listed in the wardrobe.

If you don't want the default wig to show, you can also select 'bald' hair in the wardrobe so that your scalp is clear for any wigs :)

I am aware... so I'm not sure what you mean. I like my hair this way. the wig left my forehead bald and I didn't like that so I re-arranged things. I know about the drag and drop layers. thanks for the tips though. I can't tell if you're implying anything by giving me this advice ;_;

Oh don't worry, I was just worried I made you think I thought your HA was made badly or wrong somehow, which was not my intent at all! :)

Sometimes newcomers have trouble getting the eyes over the skin and whatnot too so I just make sure to point it out when I see a HA with lots on or bare just to make sure there's no frustration.

I'd hate to think without the drag and drop feature, to have to put on and take off to get the right order would be a nightmare!
