It would be neat to see an achievement for buying out holiday shops. I know it will probably never happen, but I just bought out the New Year shop, and I thought it would be neat to be recognized for that accomplishment.

wut? You can't buy this shop out, there's an infinite supply.

You mean buying one of every item, right?

That is pretty impressive, but I don't think it's something that should have an achievement attached to it. I can see the value of holiday currencies rocketing as people try to get enough to buy everything.

No support. I prefer the "themed" achievements we already have around this concept.

Like: Has Wings Have the following wings in your wardrobe.

vs.

buy all the stuff from maleria's section of the quest shop.

or

buy all items from the quest shop.

Being forced to buy all the items means I'll end up with a bunch of useless things I neither want nor need. With the themed achievements, I do sometimes end up with things I don't want, but there's less.

Additionally this becomes prohibitive for users who join later - as more stuff gets added to the shop. They also sometimes remove stuff from holiday shops, so any given year there will be a different assortment of stuff needed for the achievement. Limiting it to specific items solves that problem.

The emended idea proposed by "buy one of everything" is a bad idea. Didn't even occur to me as a likely interpretation, and since you didn't specify we still don't know what you mean.

I'm not proposing anything and do not support the idea at all. I simply understood what meant by "buying out" the shop, and asked if that was indeed what they meant.
