However, I think they did change it somewhat recently that you need to use a URL that has https instead of just http in order for it to show up.

Imgur tends to be the best hosting site to use if you want your images to show up properly.

You'll need to upload the image to a hosting site such as imgur to be able to use it here. If you go to the site, there will be a button at the top where you can upload it from your computer (the New Post button).
