Struggling to Update Status

I've been trying to update my status over the past couple of days to no avail; not sure how far back the problem goes, but definitely after the status update box was updated during the December Sprint. When I click my status, the box changes to the text box so I should be able to edit it; I can click the text, I can highlight it, but trying to change any of it fails repeatedly. I managed to update it after some tinkering a couple of days ago but was unable to fix the cut off text and haven't had any luck since. I tried clearing the cache, closing my browser and re-opening etc but no dice.
Using Firefox, updated, etc etc.

Is this on a mobile device, or normal computer?
When you get the editable box to come up are you able to do a ctrl+a to select everything and then hit the delete button? Once cleared, hit enter.
I'm wondering if saving it as blank and then trying to re-edit will help.
I've reset your status manually. Could you please try now and see if it works?

Sorry for the delay, looks like that's worked and I can edit it again freely. Thanks a bunch!
See above, fixed now! :) But for future reference it was on my desktop. I wasn't able to highlight it all with Ctrl + A and/or delete it, unfortunately.
