I would like to propose that HA likes be reset at midnight, like everything else on the site. Tracking your HA likes with the current 24-hour system is very challenging and frustrating.

For those wondering, this is what happens with the current 24-hour system:

Let's say you look at your dashboard at 11 AM. Imagine that it says that you have 10 likes for the day with 500 overall. Then an hour later, you go back to your dashboard. Your overall number is the same at 500, but it now says you have 2 likes for the day.

I second this change.

They used to reset at midnight, it only changed not super long ago when they had to fix the system for avatar likes because they weren't working on the forums and stuff.

I don't really mind either way, but if this is easy to change it would make sense to just have them reset at midnight again.

It's annoying with the current system because I don't exactly keep track of the hour/minute/second time when I like someone's avatar. If I come across a person whose avatar I really like, I'm not going to write down the time when I liked it just so I can like it again after that same time tomorrow. I'm going to like it, find it accidentally a day later, get annoyed that I can't like it again and move on.

Midnight resets are less of a clusterfuck, imo. Full support.

I change my HA pretty much daily and can never tell if the likes I have are for the old or new HA. Its frustrating. And confusing.

It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it would be more convenient for everything to roll over at the same time.
