Hi everyone! I started a thread in a different forum about stumbling upon the Subeta Polls earlier today! It was an interesting experience because I answered the questions about nine years ago and the information is out-dated now! Kind of a funny experience, but it got me thinking that it would be super cool if the polls were revived! I know I, and other data nerds, would love to see data about the other users on Subeta, and I think it could be a great tool for staff to get feedback from users on different aspects about the site! Let me know what you think!!

BTW: the Subeta polls are located in Centropolis, a tiny little clickable voting booth if you're curious to see for yourself!

I agree! I really liked when the staff would ask us about things around the site or potential revamps and then they could work on them from there according to what the users liked (or didn't).

Exactly! It gives us a concise way to give our input on a certain topic that otherwise might be hard for them to track! For instance, a bunch of scattered people on the forums posting what they like and don't like doesn't really boil down to easy manageable numbers. Plus I like seeing other people's opinions!

I would love to see polls utilized more! Right now, we occasionally see voting when a new pet revamp is coming out, but otherwise it's an unused area that seems like it'd be interesting.

I mean, take the age poll here. At minimum, I would've had to complete that 8 years ago. And just the sheer number of people who've voted!

Maybe an added feature could be to create user polls! Then we could come up with our own questions for whatever purposes. I could see that being useful for forum groups and event planning!

I think it would be great if there was a reset once a year in the poll booth so that way the Subeta Team can have more accurate and up to date stats, like with the age of users question for example.

When was the last time we've had one of these polls? Around a couple of years ago - the question is when they are going to release them again.

Either use them more or get rid of it altogether. Right now it's just weird having this little both on the Centropolis map that hasn't been updated in years. :D

I remember them being used mostly to poll for pet species revamp feedback, but that was tedious, and people will always, always complain about everything, so I can't blame the staff for not caring so much about polling for revamps anymore. So now the polls don't really do much.

I'd like to see them used for something, but as for what.. well, good question.

It says I voted 14-15...I turn 25 next week D: How time flies, I'd love to do more polls like this to get a more accurate userbase count.

I'd love for polls to get some more attention again. I like to see how my "vote" (be it age, or an idea or opinion) relates to other Subeta users. They don't even have to give out sP or anything. Nor do they have to provide a definite or fixed decision. I think it would just be nice to get user's opinions on a lot of different things, like which direction we would like to see X or Y going. And once staff sees which direction we want to do, they can still specify or ask for further elaboration on one or two options via news or forums.
