my name's hannah!

i had an account years ago, back when i was in elementary/middle school, but it's long gone now. i grew up on neopets, and i had my account there for about twelve years? but it was hacked into and frozen about two years back. it really broke my heart, and i didn't have it in me to start over from scratch.

that said, virtual pet sites were what sparked my interest in writing and the arts. as a kid, i had a rough home life, and places like neo offered me agency and freedom. after i lost my account, i longed to find another space like the one i had there. i thought about subeta frequently, but the idea of making a new account here was kind of daunting?? especially since i was so well-established back on neo. i hadn't been a "newbie" in a long, long time.

i finally decided to go for it a couple of months back, and i'm SO glad i did. i guess this is a belated intro, but i wanted to re-explore on my own before jumping into the community.

ANYWAY.

i'm 21 and a directing student at carnegie mellon university. i'm also a writer, a visual artist, and a bunny mom to a rescue bun named gomi. really happy to be here!

It's sad to see that happened to you.Virtual pet sites bring a balance into my life as well. I promise you won't regret changing to Subeta. I played Neopets for 10 + years, but find that I find Subeta better and keep coming back to it,again and again.

I also used to be a HUGE Neopets player, it was definitely a safe haven for me as well & a creative outlet (the day I got published in the The Neopian Times was the best day of my damn life, s2g).

that being said! i'm also a writer! i recently graduated college with a BA in creative writing! what kind of stuff do you write? :) (omg that is such a broad question and i usually have trouble answering it myself but HEY let's go for the icebreaker) also, what kind of directing are you majoring in?
