Anyone here plays the Fallout Shelter?

I go through phases of playing it daily and then not playing it for a little while. It's been a few weeks since I last played it, but I typically do. It just drains the battery if you play for a little while.

Last year during Black Friday, they had a really good deal on the microtransaction stuff and I just said "Screw it, I'm going to buy something" since they were like 50% off. I meant to buy the 40 lunch boxes deal....but I wasn't thinking and bought 40 pet carriers instead. So I've got pets all over my vault and I still have a ton to spare LOL.

I played back on phone back when it first came out, got stuck because it kept crashing, then uninstalled.

Earlier this year I found out it's also on Steam, so I've been playing there. Mouse and keyboard controls, larger screen, no worries about battery drain, and more processing power are a great trade off VS it being portable.

It's still got it's bugs, though. Every now and then the daily goal numbers reset. And of course, it's always when I'm like 290/300 when that happens. Sigh.

I should have bought me the packs of pet carriers during the sale, but I didn't and I regret not doing that.

I play the app on my tablet and it always shuts down and then reloads when I open back up the app. Is it better to play it on Steam?

I've personally had fewer problems. It's worth a shot to just check it out, it's free to play there as well.
