I was reading another thread about people using a web archive site to see how far back they can view their account, and some of them were talking about pets they no longer had.

This surprised me because I still have every one I've ever made - even those whose names I would no longer choose. Now obviously there are people who do give pets away, because that's what the adoption centre is for. There are even people who make pets to specifically give away for adoption.

So do you still have every pet you've made/adopted?

i still have most of mine since i don't often adopt out pets |D

off the top of my head i know there's 3 i had for a really long time but adopted out/pounded kinda recently because i just completely lost interest in their characters then there's another 2 i adopted on impulse but got rid of after a while since i didn't get very attached to their characters and wanted space

and uhhh i think that's about it really??

(obviously i'm not counting pets i've adopted just for achievements/zapping or names i've snagged for friends during clearings lmao because there's at least 20 between all those)

No. lol I'm one who has made pets to zap and then place in the adoption center. There have been a few I'm kind of sad I did get rid of. They no longer exist on the site as this was when accounts were deleted instead of going inactive.

I have twenty, if I remembered and counted correctly, that I created. The rest were either AC adoptions or I adopted from other users.

I still have my very first pet, Sakuya Kira. And my second Ah-Dol. Of course they've had name changes. Ah-Dol enough times that I've forgotten what names he had.

I still have a few I've had since first joining under this account (let the other one go YEARS back due to inactivity).

I normally impulse adopt/create names that are RN because those are the only ones I normally go for only to decide the name isn't something I could work with after all.

But, I do still have my first few pets. Genia was my first and Caitlyn my second. Neither have had name changes so it's something I'm kinda proud about.

I only have 2 of my early pets, I've created at least 20. I had a bunch that I adopted out, I won't put the names because they have new owners. Some even were cleared? And the names were reused on new pets. I think at the time I got rid of a lot because I didn't have time to make stories and pages for them. Also I tried to train my one pet and didn't like the random stat increase spread over pets I never trained, or how I couldn't have my pet I tried to train at the top of gym page. I think you can organize that now :P

I can hardly remember what pets I started out with pfft... I'm pretty sure I've kept Jayson, Janice, Archibald, Monty, and Oskar from the beginning, though they've been through a couple name changes since then. There's also a few pets I remember creating when I first joined but I ended up adopting out to people. Regarding the present, now that my family's grown to 72+ it's kinda hard to keep track of their origins haha but I can say for sure they're pretty much a big mixture of creations and adoptions.

I have most of them still around. A handful of them (at least one, possibly more) were dropped at the adoption center earlier on, but most of the ones from a long time ago have been renamed over the years!

The only pets not from my own account are Sariel, Alice Margatroid, and Asriel Dreemurr. The first one I applied for, the latter two were gifts from friends.

I intend on 23 total, and zapping thereafter. Khali stays no matter what. Nolo is under scrutiny...all I know is if other experiments turn pets...let someone else admire them.

Khali and Ahkoum were with me since early in my attempts here. Just not my first pets...they were a Cybill and a Keeto.

Uhhhh, definitely not haha! Being on this site for as long as I have I've gone through a lot of pets.

Rathien, Ivanov, Yakuzo, Balthasar and Dendier are all insanely old though (like 10+ years), so they're about as close as I'll get to 'original' pets that I've created/adopted on here.

Only Bucky who has gone through a lot of name changes. My other pets are adopted recently.

I still have all the pets I've created myself, but I have adopted several from the pound for zapping and then adopted/pounded them out again (there have been many over the years and I can't even remember them all). I adopted all of my experiments originally for zap and release and then kind of gave up on the 'release' part, because I got attached to them ^^

I can view back to 2008 with my account and and only pet I still have from back then is Tar.

I did have a pet named Spires, though. And that was because the name 'Spire' wasn't free at the time. Ironically, now I own Spire and he is also a VERY different character. :P

Going back to 2010, I still have Glider, Corridor, Navigator, Tabby, Flask, and Zombie. All the others I had back then have been released into the wild.

I'm pretty I've kept every pet that I've made and adopted. Even if their names are not so awesome.

The only pet with me now that I've had since the beginning is Life--and he has been through several name changes. He has pretty much always been an angelic fester, though.

Technically yes, I still have the physical pets that were created but several of my pets have been through name/character changes and switcharounds. Back in the day as a newb you could only have 5 pets and 10 with a gold account, and I maxed out my 10 and didn't want to get rid of any. If I went down to 9 it would show as 9/5 pets and I would have to get another gold account to get 10 again. And you'd have to use a gold account every subeta anniversary you wanted to use a pet totem... I'm so glad they changed that now, it was pretty annoying. 😢

I only have 1 adopted pet and I adopted him the same month I joined over 6 years ago.... Well here he still is, still the same color and species that I got him as.

Nope! I still have my very first pet, but with a name change, and several others. A few are adopts from other players, most are my own though.

I believe I've had about 27 pets in total, 21 I still have, 5 of which are still on the site (albeit in the hands of other owners) and 1 of which the name was wiped or changed xD. This is off of memory though. There have been some pets I didn't hold very long, due to immediate disinterest in their names or that I was zapping and then pounding.

My original roster of pets was... I want to say 5 or 6 that I created back in 2007, but the only one who's made it out this long is Kolja, who I created as Voloshenko. I went through a period of having only one pet (him), before I started building up my roster to what it is today. Kind of wish I'd kept my original pets and done what I do now- chronic name changes any time I decide to nix and/or swap out characters on an existing build. My old pets didn't have great stats or lots of TC slots or anything special, but there's that sort of sentimental value, you know?

I was able to track down the first pet I ever made (the current owner has kept his name the same this entire time), and I think he's the one I regret disowning the most. It bugs me not having a 'first pet' whose creation date doesn't correspond to my account creation date.

Hmmm...to a certain extent. I still have a small pool of dream pets, but I'm trying to finish a few more pets before I start collecting more, lol. But I am very proud of my lovely pets and what I have accomplished with them thus far :)

Some of them I have, in a way. I've actually name changed a lot of my older created pets instead of just pounding them / adopting them out.

I have every single one of mine still :D The only 'change' made was, that I turned one of my previous pets into a Neela with an elixir.

Considering to get another elixir and make my Kerubi a Neela too. I love Neela <3
