For the PS4.

Not interested in Overwatch or CoD, sorry.

Mainly loooking for single player First Person Shooter games where you don't need to be in multiplayer mode to enjoy...

I am a ... I'm not very good at a lot of games but I enjoy playing them and would feel less self conscious if I didn't have to play online and fail before others... lol.

Thanks for any and all help! Oh and I know of Destiny... but I've been hearing mixed reviews so I will avoid that game as much as I can for now.

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath is good if you're looking for something really unconventional. It's a FPS/third person action hybrid where instead of some guy carrying a gun, you're a furry mysterious stranger wielding a crossbow loaded with live critters as ammo.

Are you interested in Fallout? The Fallout games are pretty fun, FPS, and single-player. Fallout 4 is the most recent game. Admittedly, the storyline of this game was not my favorite of the series. I liked the stories of 3 and New Vegas more, and I believe you can now play both games on PS4? (I know for sure they're backwards compatible on Xbox One since I primarily play Xbox, but I imagine it would be the same for PS4. Not 100% sure though). That being said, the settlement building on Fallout 4 is a lot of fun, imo. That kept me hooked on the game.

Umm, another suggestion is Skyrim. I know they brought that to PS4. I personally haven't really played it, but my friends adore that game. It was originally released on prior consoles, but I know they brought them to Xbox One/PS4 as well.

Although it's a multiplayer game, Battlefield 1 has a single-player campaign. My husband was really intrigued with the storyline. That being said, if you're not interested in CoD, you may not care for Battlefield 1. I personally suck at the Battlefield games rofl.

As for Destiny, I personally enjoy it. It's a super-grindy game though. But it's definitely more fun to play with friends as opposed to by yourself, even when it comes to the story missions. Destiny 2's campaign beats the original Destiny's by a longshot. I know you said you're avoiding that game at the moment, but still figured I'd let you know about playing with friends rather than by yourself, just in case you ever consider it in the future!

Fallout and Skyrim are made by the same publisher, Bethesda, So if you like Skyrim, you may like Fallout as well!

The Halo series is excellent in my opinion, up until Halo 5 because that story is getting a little hinky.
