I'd still like it to be a free thing that isn't tied to CSC at all, because it's a pretty simple and pleasant perk that imo shouldn't have to rely on premium currency/premium currency items? even with being tied to a GA it's still reliant on CSC, so the point's still the same. I just.. didn't know it got changed up like that, ahaha

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but this still bugs me.

Being able to show off our pets in a simple way when we post shouldn't have to rely on CSC? A lot of stuff regarding pets already costs CSC: custom on-site overlays, name-swapping, renaming, extra slots after the MC ones.. and on top of that, leashing a pet only lasts a month + only works for the pet in question. It seems just.. kind of pointless to have to pay premium currency for.

I'd love to show off pets that I'm proud of, give them little captions to fit them-- I'm here for my pets and I really, really want to share them and show them off in a chill little way like pet leashing! Subeta's still a pet site, right? So why's this simple little feature, which helps individuals show off their pets and get other people interested in their pets, have to be packaged with premium-only stuff?

I'd be alright with it costing up to 5m sP for a month or 1m for a week, or something like that, I'm all for more sP sinks, but.. The fact that it's CSC GA only has always seemed like pointless money-grabbing to me, and only discourages me from using the feature whatsoever.

There's sCode that displays your pet's headshot, pretty much the same way a leash does. You could just add that to your signature and show off your pet for free?

I kind of want to say that's missing the point, as much as that might seem rude-- I'm not bothered by the inability to show off pets, but more by the fact that leashing costs premium currency when it's an incredibly simple feature that ties into the "petsite" concept.

And I honestly hate the idea of having a signature that isn't super simple/noncluttered. I'm not so desperate as to start having to clutter up my posts, especially when leashed pets fit perfectly into the avatar/username/etc box as they do.

Where are you seeing the option to leash pets for CSC? As far as I can tell, is correct and this is currently a GA-only feature.

... huh. You know, it very may well be-- because the link to do so isn't at the top of my Pets page anymore, and it's not on individual pet pages either.

That seems a little less crummy than being a pay-per-use feature, but it's still a bit disappointing. Hmm. I'll have to change the original post, then.

I didn't see it being changed over to pay-per-use-- I figured that it was still there, since I don't recall there ever being an announcement or other formal statement on it being turned into a GA perk! Thanks for saying that, though, because it's nice to have some official clarity on the matter.

Yup! I leash my pets all the time and it's free with the GA.

i love pet leashing and tbh it's one of my favourite ga perks, but i don't think it's unfair for it to be ga only q v q it's a really minor thing so i don't feel like i'm "missing out" on not having one, but it's still nice enough that i want it. if that even makes sense haha |D

As a pet person I like this suggestion. I LOVE seeing leashed pets and it's a great way to get people to check out their profile or your other pets if they get curious. I'm always snooping on leashed pets haha. As someone with a GA I do like that it's a perk but I wouldn't hate it if everyone could use it if they wanted to.
