I have been collecting stat boosters since I start training my pet around 3 months ago. FireStorm is now tier 6 with 2758 total stats, which I have gotten to just by the training center, battle quests and using shinwas level potions to boost levels, and all other random stat gains throughout the site.

My question is when should I start using my boosters, obviously when I do, this would greatly reduce my stat gain capability from battle quests and training. So what is best, hold off on using boosters until a certain range or what?

Thanks for your advice.

Boosters won't necessarily reduce your stat gains from BQs because, as your pet grows, you will able to get farther in BQs and thus earn more EXP to spend.

Training is based on level, so as long as you don't make your pet's level completely out of whack, which easily happens when you use too many tomes at once, you should be okay there, too.

That being said, when to boost honestly comes down to your own personal preference. I think it is fine to boost as much as you want (while keeping your level in check) until T12. After that, you want to save your boosters for T13 because the cost of stats from EXP triples from T12 to T13, which will make BQs far less effective.

I would try not to throw my level out of wack however given the number of boosters I have I would be nearly doubling my total stats which would at a minimum result in double the levels. As a result I would be able to train at the training center far less every day, At what point can you no longer train at the training center, maybe I should wait until that time before boosting.

You don't have to use the boosters all at once (though sometimes people like to do that). Personally, I prefer to use a tome or two when it's time to increase my level because I'd rather not train for that.

I use Shinwas level potions for levels. That way I am increasing my other stats as slow as possible as to not increase my training times to quickly.

As said, "Training is based on level, so as long as you don't make your pet's level completely out of whack, which easily happens when you use too many tomes at once, you should be okay there, too."

That means there's really no difference between using a level potion and a tome when it comes to increasing your training times.

You also might be a little too concerned with training times. If boosting gets you from T6 to T7 faster than just training and only boosting level, why not boost?

if I used all my boosters right now I would be going from T5 to T9 which would be a massive increase in training times. I am getting in about 4-5 training center courses a day which works out to about 8 stats a day. 8*365 is 2920 a year (Slowly decreases as I go up in levels). If I jumped to T9 I may only get in two trainings a day which would be a decrease of about 1700 stats a year. I am just trying to think about it analytically in order to maximize my training potential.

But you also need to consider how many more BQs you would be able to do in that same year after boosting. I guarantee you will be able to earn more EXP from BQs to compensate for the loss in training time. Training is a very slow way to gain stats and BQs are much more important.

I might be able to beat more opponents however then the experience required for each stat will also scale up so the additional EXP might not net me very many extra stats.

has a list of training times on his profile that you might want to use to determine your best route.

But I feel I must say once again that, from my own experience over the past few years, BQs are the way to go and the training center is not as important.

All using boosters means is how quickly do you want to beat opponents and cap your pet. As long as you have the right equipment, the higher your stats the more opponents you can beat. More opponents means more experience. Harder opponents means more experience, more money and sometimes even better loot.

Don’t be afraid to use your boosters because it means you will increase your training times. Training has always been the slowest method of gaining stats. You literally have to be on every 3 hours to take advantage of 8+ training sessions per day.

Aside from beating more opponents 10+ times, beating more opponents in battle quests will go a long way. When my pet was T9 he was getting at least 18k experience from battle quests. That equates to 13 - 18 stats per day, depending on what you buy. That is in addition to training sessions in the training center.

The only reason I would not boost is for the following situations:

Don’t have the right T9 weapons nor the funds to buy them Don’t have the right scrolls nor the funds to obtain them Not in a hurry to beat impossible opponents or cap your pet

When there's an event going on, you might want to consider using boosters, since some opponents in the one-time events may take a loooong time before they appear again, and their loot might be changed or achievements may be retired.

I wouldn't worry too much about training times. They will go up anyway. As long as you don't boost your level too much out of proportions, it should be fine.
