RE's are just too rare, since there's no rhyme or reason for who/when they show up. I think last year I got a grand total of 20. With hundreds to delete, this is bordering on impossible. I can grab more fireside floaters in one week than I can get fairies all month.

Yes, I know it's not supposed to be easy, so spare me. I've been deleting since day one for the achievement, and 621 / 1,000. Six years. SIX.

Uh, yeah. I support. I've been on this site close to 11 years. I've participated in every Luminaire celebration. According to the achievement, during all that time, I've only ever found 402 fairies total. 4 0 2. I don't even have the last Fairy Catcher tier, and I'm supposed to free 1000? Pshaw.

I can get behind this. It would make sorting my inventory a lot easier since I wouldn't have to click on the fairies if I were questing or something that would also fill my inventory up. I remember struggling at points in the past for fairies, but I have all the related achievements and have no idea if I had to buy fairies for releasing or anything like that (I think I did but a year or two is so long ago for me to remember)

I'd support some sort of increased chance to get them. I was online all day yesterday and loaded hundreds of pages ( was buying and throwing snowballs) and I didn't get even 1 fairy. I actually forgot they even existed until I saw someone asking about them. Then I wondered if enabling them had been forgotten. Still haven't seen 1 yet... But I'm glad has a plan. :)

I know said she increased the chances of getting the fairy REs yesterday when a similar thread was made in the Help & Questions forum asking if they were even around.

I've gotten 2 fairies so far, and I'm also online quite a bit so it seems like they're still pretty rare. I don't have a particular preference whether they are floating items or just from REs, but I do agree that some more ways to get them would be nice for people who still need the achievements.

I've been getting a ton of pageviews from spamming the Avalanche Emporium/Snowtapult but have only gotten two fairies. There's absolutely no way I'll be able to finish the achievement at this rate (and I've been working on it for five years).

I completely forgot about the fairies.

RE's, floaties, any other way of getting them out, as long as there's more. I need about 600 more for an achieve, and I've gotten 2 so far. I know there's still whole month for that, but comparing to amounts of other event freebies like pumpkins or rreign items for Fireside, the fairies are ridiculously rare.

Haven't seen one yet, thought maybe they hadn't been released yet.

I'd argue then that whatever the RE frequency is set at is still too low, since I and others have found next to none. Nor should it matter that it's only been two days. There are a lot of users that need a lot of fairies, and it's pretty obvious that the site isn't giving out the quantities needed for hundreds of people to be getting this achievement.

I mean, 358 / 500. I haven't even FOUND 500 of them. In SIX years. So even though you're planning on releasing them in some fashion, I'm assuming that way is still not going to help with this part.

Also a big thank you to the handful of people who sent me some fairies. You guys make this site amazing.

I wouldn't mind a way to get more out for people who need them for achievements, but right after Fireside another month of floating items would be too much for me. It's not so bad when they're spread out over a year.

I've found only 105 in three years. Thankfully, fairies are relatively cheap, which would be the only reason I've released 449, otherwise 1000 would be way too many their current level.

You have to remember that random events aren't on their own, they are complicated things. Once you've had a RE, there's a cool down until you get another, etc. I've been tweaking with the odds of getting it, but you're also fighting against a lot of other events. :p

I prefer to keep them as REs, as i tend to quest and have tons of tabs open and as REs im not inclined to miss them, but i would appreciate if their RE would show up more frequently. I really hope that whatever is coming will totally help cuz frankly i am so annoyed that it is taking this long to get this achievement

.....which is exactly why they should be switched to floaters. Or some other method where they're on their own wavelength so they can be specifically tweaked and don't have to fight against a slew of other things.

I'd love to see them as floaters too. I've gotten two dandybunnies and one lizard minion event since Lumi has started (and yes, one floating fairy!)
