I have one of the top 10 scores in Spectrail at the moment and I've refreshed the highscore page but can't convince this achievement to register as completed. Is this achievement bugged or am I doing something wrong?

From what I remember, the high score lists don't really activate until around the 3rd of the month or so. I think this is just to give it time to stabilize again after the scores are cleared.

Yes, high scores don't start counting until the 3rd day of the month or so. This is to give everyone a fair chance at competing for it (otherwise someone could get the top score automatically by just being the first to submit a score at midnight)

To add to this, I'm pretty sure you only get the achievement when the high score rewards are processed the next day (on the hour sometime between midnight and 4, usually) so don't fuss if it doesn't activate before then.

Update: I've now gotten the event that says I've been awarded sp for having a highscore in Spectrail, but the achievement itself is still not activating

It looks like you've been bumped down to the number 11 spot, so you'll probably have to submit a new high score and get back into the top 10. The achievement is awarded whenever you view the high score list while you're in the top 10, it's not tied to the sP being awarded to high score users.

I was in the spot when I posted the above update. And I had refreshed the high score page but the achievement still did not register as completed.

That does seem strange then. I could probably only suggest trying to get a new high score in the top 10 and see if that works, or IDK.

I'm not really 100% sure on how the high score lists work behind the scenes, so I can't say if this is a bug or if it's working as intended. Like even though it gave you sP for it, I'm not sure if the achievement didn't count because it was still on the 3rd day and not after 3 days or something. :c

Another update: Got back into the slot and the achievement finally worked, so it's definitely not bugged and this thread can be closed :)
