So I was thinking, back during the Gelatin war we had a big change done to the Hydragellos, everyone had a set goal to strive for if they wanted a core.

Ok that is good, I liked that.

Now what if they bring back the Gellies with the same premise... well more cores would flood the market right? Sure they could just change the prize, but then that's a little unfair some would say.

But what if this?

Staff have the list of people who hit the damage goal for the cores, what if they just keep the core at 5mil for those who HAVEN'T won one and then make a new weapon prize for a higher damage count so people have a new goal to aim for?

When the prizes are handed out, those who hit the 5mil and won a core last time, well they could get say a second booster or some sP or just leave it blank since they will be aiming for a higher damage goal anyway..

I figure maybe it can be done this way since all the data is marked down, less headache for the staff? I dunno just thinking out loud. I hope this suggestion makes sense.

I think battling should be for the fun of battling and not for "preserving value". If a user wants to play an economic game, there are many other opportunities here in Subeta.

Those very people who didn't get teh Core before are still potentially in the market for one. At the Tier you needed to get five million without dying of utter boredom or giving in to the shear OCD, the number of extra people who will be getting the Core with one year's worth of training and boosting will be very small.

I would think they are going to change the number that it takes to get a core.

I don't think they realized how much easier the new UI would make battling. I think more cores went out during the last gelatin war than had previously gone out in every previous gelatin war.

If they release another 180ish of them again, they are going to be worthless.

There has been talk before of making the core and ach prize instead of a loot drop... I dk what the new item would be -- hopefully not a weapon or book. If it was just a silly wearable or food item or minion, I could go for that. :)
