Battling: not getting Midnight Sun achievement

I just defeated Eventide Phoenix 25 times, however I do not get the achievement (or notification) and I also didn't get the as a reward. I tried refreshing the achievement and battle coliseum pages, but nothing. Any help would be appreciated :/ Thanks!
Some of the battling achievements have been glitched since the updates earlier this month. You can file a ticket to have your achievement and item awarded to you by a staff member.

Do I do the same for the Defeat Manticat achievement? It didn't trigger for me.

Yeah, any of the achievements that you have completed the requirement(s) for but didn't get awarded, you should file a ticket so they can give it to you and so they have a record of which ones aren't working properly.

This happened to me too, and I've already filed a ticket and the staff member assigned to the ticket responded with
Same thing happened with this achievement and item not received and apparently the staff member added to my account but it's still not showing up, nor have I received the item

Thank you I filed a total of 3 tickets at the time, 2 of which went to this staff member, and the first one I filed went to another staff member and that one was sorted out properly so I have no idea what happened to these 2 :(
It isn't the staff member's fault - all they can do is reset it through the admin site (like set it to 0 and then back to the number you're supposed to have) since they're not programmers. Usually that works, but our achievements code is really messy and buggy so sometimes it's not enough and a programmer has to get involved.
I'm trying various things to trigger them now, let me know if any sidebar notifications/achievement prizes pop up on your end!

I wasn't blaming staff, I was merely stating there may have been a difference in the way the 2/3 tickets may have been handled...I don't know what it looks like on staff's end of things. idk just giving all the info I can, really.

edit: my # of achievements never went up tho. I'm still at 1780 when I should be at 1782? no?

This is still an issue.
Achievements such as
Defeat the Mad Scientist 10 times in battle!</p>
<p>8 / 10</p>
<p>Midnight Sun
Defeat the Eventide Phoenix 25 times in battle!</p>
<p>0 / 25</p>
<p>Spring Breeze
Defeat Fruit Punch 25 times in battle!</p>
<p>0 / 25
None of the counters are going up. My ‘8’ on the scientist was from years ago. Now it’s not rising, none of them are. I’ve beaten the Eventide Phoenix up until 25 just in case the counter wasn’t counting but the achievement might still unlock...it didn’t.
EDIT (important note): this is only happening on unlockable challengers, not all challengers.
