Hi! Sorry if this is the wrong section; I wasn't sure if this fit better here or under Help & Questions.
I've been thinking about opening a little art shop, and I was wondering... Are "adoptable" sales (ie. character designs) allowed on Subeta, or only made-to-order commissions? If they are allowed, does anyone buy them? I'm a forum noob returning from a several-year hiatus, so I'm a bit out of the loop, lol. ;v;
In addition to opening up some custom overlay commission slots, I was thinking about maybe selling a few premade/adoptable overlays and character designs that people could use for their pets. I'm totally unfamiliar with Subeta's art market, though, so I don't know if that sort of thing sells here or if it's against the rules.
Here are some custom overlays I've made for my pets, as examples:

I'd also provide the 800px fullsize version (transparent and/or white background) for the buyer to resize as they wish for pet profiles and the like.
I'm not sure whether it's allowed or not, but I think that this would be an awesome idea. I get in art funks all the time, and adopting a pet design would save me a lot of time and headaches. x)
By the way your art is awesome! You should definitely make a ping group, so people know when you open shops. c:

It's definitely allowed; I've sold characters in the past and I've seen a design go for sale just this last week in the auction forum. It doesn't happen very often though, which is such a shame because I personally love buying character designs.
I think if you're selling designs you didn't make yourself, you may want to file a ticket and ask, but if they're 100% by you, then I'm pretty sure it's allowed. C:
I'm assuming these are drawn by you and not just selling the designs?
I'd advise against selling designs that aren't yours as anything for sale in the art market is meant to be your own creations.
That said, selling pre-mades of your own creation, and not made to order is fine.
