Isn't there an item that you can use in your layers that can block out parts of items on other layers?

There's a lot of items that can accomplish a cover up depending on what specifically you are going for. What are you trying to cover up?

Right now I have the peek a choo on for the effect on the face but the tissue is hidden behind the wing, for example.

Are you, perhaps, thinking of the: It cuts out white all around your avatar base, so you can trim the sides of other items that you layer underneath it.

If it is, and you decide to use it, you may also want to try this item above the whiteout layer: This one traces the outline of the avatar, which can make whatever item you trim the sides off of look like it's supposed to be that way.

Hope that might help a bit, ! :D

Older backgrounds that still have the HA cutout in them will do the same thing too, just for reference :)
