I would like added as some of the possible gift wraps in Arctic Frost there be envelopes (and not a box or box set) to slip pieces of currency in as a gift. I am wanting red specifically, but other colors could work too. We could stuff sP Vouchers, or WT or Vesnali Coins or New Year Tokens in them.

Maybe they could have calligraphed lucky saherimos letters, or an image of Lui and Ta or a Calucko.

[edit] I now edit this 26 Nov to add what other users have Suggested, that this kind of giftbox (still looking like an envelope) have extra spaces, a daily and amount limit, and that each envelope be currency specific.

I'm not sure if this is specifically what is being asked for, but I'd love to be able to add currencies without the need to have the physical items present, since 5/10 [insert event currency of your choice here] isn't all that much. If I have currency to spare in the first place, I'd rather just buy the items to send as gifts.

Kind of like a gift card sleeve or money envelope. I support it.

I love this idea too! Can we chose to put currencies in the envelopes directly from our currency banks? I know several currencies will have to be excluded from that for the sake of balance, however I'd really appreciate being able to send vesnali coins, steamworks coins, and especially SP directly to somebody as a gift in a size bigger than those darn vouchers.

Red envelopes and other colors would be really lovely, and I like the calligraphed envelopes too (and I really enjoy this word calligraphed haha).

I can see this being super useful for holiday gifting and possibly trading/selling lots of currency quickly! But unfortunately... I can also see it being super useful to people with shady intentions.

A limit on the amount of currency you can send in one box, or per day would probably help curb that. Or even a higher pricetag for gift boxes that contain currency.

idk, just something to make it less easy for any hackers to quickly move masses of currency from one account to another.

A safety option with the PIN would be great! I forgot the PIN is even an option. x')

There is a checkbox for "gift item to user", but I'm pretty sure that applies to sending items via inventory and not the gift center.

I hadn't thought of extending the spaces past five/ten because it would be a smallish gifty thing to do this that way. I was only hoping for additional art, and not coding.

If we ARE extending this out, then there definitely should be a per-day limit, and the maximum number of spaces you can get should be based on total userprice. This might make it hard to do all your gifting without planning ahead, if you intended to use them as something other than regular giftboxes with different art.

If you choose the kind of giftwrap at the Arctic Frost,which you would need to do to get an Envelope, it costs you 7000sP. This is a pretty high agio to send 10KsP Vouchers (this is the largest size). New Year Tokens are running around 150KsP right now, so the agio is quite a bit cheaper. If we're requesting not just additional art but coding to allow more spaces, maybe the cost of the envelope should be a percentage of the userprice of the contents.

Especially if they can be made currency specific. Even if the limit remains at 5/10, it would still be nice to just be able to send currency directly from the vault. I do fully support being able to send higher amounts of currency.

Magnificent idea! We already have the ability to add CSC directly to trade offers, so I don't see why doing something similar to other currencies with those envelops, just in time for Luminaire.

Definitely interested in something like this. (ie: doesn't have to be based on any asian culture, it was just a reference) (but it could be based around shengui quo tho ...)
