Do any of you freelance write as a job/hobby/side income? I do! I just started this July, and I really like it so far. I like to write journalistic articles and profiles, as well as personal essays dealing with the LGBTQ community. ❤️ 🌈

I'm not a freelance writer, but I find it interesting and intriguing! I'd love to do it on the side eventually, or at least try my hand at it, though I'm terrible at time management and afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep up with it at all, haha.

Wow that's really cool. Do you have any examples of stuff you wrote? (Only if you're comfortable sharing - I wouldn't judge you if you don't want to reveal personal info haha) How do you find a job like that? I'm thinking of looking for some side income myself but with a lack of education I don't know if any writing place would take me.

I've dabbled in freelance writing, but I find it was quite tough to get into (I also got busy, and fell back on working on it so it's mainly my own fault). I've mostly been interested in freelance editing and proofreading, as I found article writing to be my least favourite type of writing. I'd like to try again come 2018 for my 'year of projects'!

I work as a freelance writer, started on upwork.com and been doing it for like 6 years also have a degree in journalism I do creative writing, its nice if you love to write and you're disciplined/motivated, plus i love that i can make my own schedule you don't need specific education as long as you're good with writing

I used to freelance as a job and enjoyed it. However, I've since taken up a new job for now because it was getting to be a bit much for me. I might try my hand at it again once things calm down a bit.
