Have you perhaps heard of Poets of the Fall? They're my favorite alternative rock band. Here's a few links to some of their songs, in case you wanna check them out! Carnival of Rust War Drama for Life

And I'm not sure what genre their music is, but I also enjoy listening to Woolf and the Wondershow. Some songs of theirs: Drinking About You Cages

Hmm, not sure if these would be your cup of tea, but maybe you could check them out?

Nocturnal Bloodlust - a Japanese metalcore/visual kei band. There's screaming/growling and it's kind of heavy, but they also have really beautiful ballads. Hiro's voice is ❤️ Malice Against Genesis The Strength I Need Ignis Heart

Disperse - progressive rock band from Poland. I really love the combo of soft vocals + experimental sound. They're not as "scary" as Nokubura lol, but I think their instrumentals are awesome! Unbroken Shiver Tether Engima of Abode Profane the Ground

ubiquitous sounds like it was recorded by actual demons but it's very good if you're into that sort of thing

i also really love paradise lost (i think the plague within is my fav album) and thrice

also soen. prog metal, lovely vocals. just. pretty voice.

carach angren [x, x] symphonic black metal. very unique and super good. lots of violins and surprisingly clean vocals.

this is also a very good album (if you like it they go by grave pleasures now)

I got a few for ya!

Until the Ribbon Breaks 2025 Goldfish My Love Goodnight America (the cool thing about these dudes is that they don't really stick with one single genre, every song has its own feel!)

Highly Suspect Serotonia (this has been my fave song since like may) Bath Salts Little One

Smokey Joe and the Kid OKAY i know you said you don't really like rap but i figured i'd post these anyway because these guys mixed swinger music with rap and i just? i feel like more people need to know about this style lmao Jailhouse Blues Somehow

That's probably way too many at once, but good luck on your quest to find new music to love!

Some of my favorites consist of Black Veil Brides, Palaye Royal, Sleeping with Sirens, Asking Alexandria, We came as Romans and Crown the Empire. Most are rather well known so you might have already heard of them. There's also Kamelot and Volbeat.

Here is what I'm currently listening to like crazy:

In This Moment The Nearly Deads Icon for Hire Blacklisted Me Halestorm

This song is my jam (Get Scared - Sarcasm)

And this one (THEORY - Straight Jacket)

And this one (Red Sun Rising - Deathwish)

I have a playlist with old (meaning mid-2000s) to new mixed in. The aforementioned bands and songs are on the list (links are actually directly from it).
