Not sure if this was suggested or not but I figure I would make a topic.

I know Loyalty Points are for buying to support the site but a lot of people cannot buy csc with real money therefore getting those points just won't happen.... but what if the Bathhouse pools gave you a rare chance for a single point every so often? (Not a high chance but still a chance.)

In turn you just won't earn stamps on the loyalty card itself but you can slowly earn points for the items from that shop. Just tossing the idea out there.

I know not everything has to be earned via Bathhouse pools but I figure we can get referral points that way too....

[edit] Basically what I mean is give us a smaller chance at getting the points, but only give out a single one, don't let it count towards stamps and make it one of the rarer prizes. That way they still retain their value.

hm yeah i'd be ok with that, it'd be an option for people who can't buy csc to gradually save up over time. i mean i get it, loyalty points are an additional reward for monetarily supporting the site, but i don't think it'd be a significant enough change to discourage people from buying csc when they normally would. i know i like to buy a little csc during bonus weekends if i want the reward items enough, so this wouldn't stop me. but for those who can't, it's not like they're completely at the mercy of loyalty shop resellers.

I'm not really a fan of this idea. Mostly just because Loyalty points are already readily obtainable. Paypal makes buying super accessible. With Crypts points, referrals and forum points, it's pretty much luck-based to actually get them from their original source so I (and probably most people because who has THAT many friends to refer) always need more of them. So I'm always happy to get those from the Bathhouse. I'd be kinda bummed to get a Loyalty point when I already earn them from buying CSC.

It's less about buying CSC being accessible or easy to do and more about people who don't have much extra money in real life and can't afford to be spending what they do have on a game site.

The OP isn't asking for lots of Loyalty Points to be going out, but having a chance at 1 point once a month or so would still be kind of nice. It would take a while to gather together a lot of points, but it adds up over time.

It would be a nice way to get some points if there's anything from the shop someone really wants to save for (like the backdrops especially, which tend to be worth the most points). I support this suggestion.

The point of the Bathhouse is to reward users who come on the site every day and put the effort in visiting. That's why we have things like CSC go out or referral points. Even if it's only one loyalty point a month, it'd be a nice thank you to those users who might not be able to spend their money on the site but still put the time and dedication into the site other ways.

Do you mean that on the referral point day it would give the referral point OR loyalty point?

Although yeah, I am also leaning more towards the "keep the referral point day and stick in a loyalty point day somewhere else" idea.

Because at least most of the Loyalty Shop items end up being buyable with sP as well, but the Referral Shop items tend to be nonexistent in user shops.

That's exactly how I feel. I have nothing against LP being in the pool (definitely not in a "you don't buy CSC so you don't deserve XYZ" kinda of attitude so I hope I didn't come off that way) I just need every referral point I can get I would hate to miss one 😆

I totally get where you're coming from. It's staff's decision in the end and I'll still be bathhousing my way to that sick TLC title either way.

A reminder that users below 18 cannot use a Paypal account of their own, making this currency impossible to get

Meaning that someone who is 16 or 17, has a part-time job and can afford CSC, but can't use Paypal or Stripe is screwed because while they do have money, they cannot access Paypal by themselves.

Another thing is international currency convertion. While the USD Dollar to CSC ratio is fair, the conversion rate in some other countries isn't as fair. So, buying 10$ or 20$ of CSC in a single shot isn't as doable, due to the fact it's much more expensive compared to the general income in these countries.

For me, this is a no-brainer, and if things like CSC do get out, why not loyalty points. Right now, they're a downright unfair currency to everyone who cannot buy CSC directly, due to their age or their geographical location
