Is this a weapon worth buying? Can't find much info on it.

The weapon was recently revamped when the battle shop was updated. It's up to you whether or not you think you can make use of the new functionality triggered by a certain amount of health (less than 42%).

Thanks so much. Guess I'll buy it as there seems to be no other reason to save those points, I already have a Volatile Energized Mecha.

You can always trade down your tokens for stat boosters or save them for things like parched mods if you need to switch your weapons around. Alternatively you can sell the stat boosters in bulk and buy yourself a weapon you may actually find more useful!
