I'm catching up with some battles before the reset.

Does anybody know, what's the secret behind Uilliff's hitting through a full blocker without a curse?

Reflection, full blocking disabled, your own curse hits yourself,... ?!?

I just did a few test battles and it appears blocking is disabled against Uilliff. So, any blocking is useless in battles against them.

Thank you! I feel, that should somehow show up in battle with the blocked/defended icons being greyed out, a curse icon or the like :-( I just happened to notice something odd while mindlessly hacking away, when I battled with the little ones...

No problem! And I agree! Off the top of my head, I think only Uilliff and Nightshade have blocking disabled, so it isn't too common, but that would be a nice change to have implemented at some point.
