So, I've recently gotten back into Subeta after a pretty lengthy hiatus, and I'm trying to get back into battling- there are so many new weapons, and I've forgotten most I knew anyway, so I'm really only working with one battle pet and the set I'd made then? (Honestly, it's just been a few goes ago that I realized I could use scrolls and potions, ugh- I've been doing battle quests on and off since coming back, so I'm kind of ashamed of how long it took for me to realize that)
I'm at T6 right now, but only a day or two off from T7, so it seems like a good time to come seeking some advice.
My T6 set up is: I've got some sort of modification on the Blades, two crystals of some sort?
I'd love to get some advice on what sort of weaponry I should look into obtaining for T7- keeping some or trading up or whatnot. I'd ideally like to keep the weapons below, like, 25m each, as I've not got the most to toss into it and I'm not the best at it in the first place? Super ideally, they'll be closer to 5m or so.
If you're tossing ideas, I'm open to higher end ones- as I have an extensive armory (hence not listing and not knowing what to mention of note) and hopefully they might be in there.
I'd also love some suggestions as to which weaponry would be worth putting together for a T2&3 set (maybe even a 1?) so I can start working at knocking out lower end monsters with a few of my other lower trained pets?
I've been doing a lot of reading on the forum here and Googling, but I've been a bit overwhelmed, and hoped making a post would be a bit easier?
Thanks in advance for any advice tossed my way!
- dark blocker that will become more useful as you go up in tier and hit 2,500 defense - semi breakable shield that grants you a blessing to protect from freezing when it breaks. - packs a punch but lacks defense - a nice bomb to use when your opponent is frozen - always useful to blast an opponent's weapon I believe this scales with your pet? 7% heal and blocks a small amount of light can be bought in the battle shop with battle tokens. A really nice bomb that will also heal your pet 25 - 50% - more expensive than all the other items I listed but worth the price. It has the chance to heal you for up to 25% of your total health
T7 worthy investments for long term use:
- 90% healer - cheaper alternative earth blocker at T10 compared to - blaster with a small chance to freeze/steal. Can be used with the recycle blaster
Thank you! I'll definitely be looking into these~!
Is the Reviver of the Lion considered a healer item? Can you still only have one healer? I've got a phoenix quill eqipped that's served me pretty well- is it better than that one?
It is a healer but does not take up a healer slot so you could technically equip all of these items at once: pquill, reviver and the one ring.
Depends on your needs. The more you can heal, the longer you could last. For example, say you have 1k hp. To make things simple let’s say your weapons have no heal on them and your opponent doesn’t boost. . It takes your opponent 5 turns to get your health down to 100 hp. That’s 180 hp avg loss per turn. If you use your quill, that will heal you for 1,000 hp and leave you with 920 hp, gaining you another 5 turns before you are close to dead. Use another healer like the one ring and that gives you an additional 5 turns. If instead you used a full blocker, that will only gain you one additional turn. Sometimes one extra turn is all you need to beat your opponent, other times you need more.
Ooooh, awesome! Thank you so much! I've been working under the illusion that literally anything that heals counted as a healer!!! That's going to be massively helpful, haha~
When you look at the weapons in your armory, it will say underneath the weapon name if it takes up a healer, stealer or freezer spot.
Don't forget to update your scrolls as you go! Which scrolls are you using now, and how much AP do you have available to equip them?
For lower tier sets: Tier 1: scales with your pet, so it's useful all the way through. However, it's usually not the best weapon in any tier. for healing. for a little bit of defense. for dealing a ton of damage. for healing / attacking, like the Minotaur Knocker, but it's a bit cheaper. for attacking.
Tier 2: again, since it scales. because you always need it. Though at lower tiers there are probably some other alternatives, I forgot what they're called, I think Ruffy Healing Bones (spelling?) is one, and some of the quills, like the Silver Quill and Rainbow Quill? for defense. for a small chance to freeze. for a ton of damage. There are probably better bombs for tier 2, but I always stick to this one since it's in my armory. for attacking.
For tier 1 and 2, I guess weapons don't really matter all that much. You go through the tiers pretty fast. For more ideas on weapons to use for these tiers, you can browse the forum stickies until you find one that is called something like a Weapons Guide. It has a huge list of (a little bit outdated, but mostly still relevant) weapons which are the top for each tier.
Tier 3: because it's awesome. for tons of damage. Can also add for even more tons of damage. for healing / attacking. gives a pretty nice blessing that has a chance to protect from freezing. for attacking. because it scales. For healing / attacking. for freezing.
Again, this is by no means a list with the only weapons that are viable. Look around a bit in the set advice forum and you'll find posts of other people who asked for advice for this tier. You'll find more options there!
