What are some not super expensive gifts that people enjoy/have enjoyed getting for Luminaire. Just looking for ideas.
Scratchcards are nice and not expensive, if you want to give a little something. You can buy some ahead of time from the scratchcard page for only 1k each and stash them in your vault until Luminaire.
If you do Wizard quests and have a lot of extra tokens, those can be nice little gifts as well. You can cash out 50 or 100 point tokens, or however much you want since there are various amounts available as their own items.
Thanks for the idea. I think I will buy some scratchcards.
A New Year Token. Not only is it a currency that they can just sell if they don't like it, it's foresightful because the New Year's Shop will open soon after.
If they're from the antipodes, or if you are, you can give Vesnali or Survival flowers. The Vesnali ones can get turned into currency Vesnali Coin in the spring.
Subeautique Invitations are not terribly expensive either, and are typically appreciated. I agree with the Wizard/New Year Tokens as well. Or even Steamworks/Lounge Trinkets would be cool.
Basically, currencies. Candy Hearts, Wiz Tokens, Invites, Trinkets, Vesnali Coins or Flowers. Scratchcards aren't bad either. If you know someone is into baking with Fantine, some ingredients are good too, since they're used up in dozens while trying to level up.
Mage Amulets for those who like to battle. You can get them from doing Quentin quests sometimes, great to stock up on to hand out during Lumi.
magical keepsake boxes for pet lovers! i always need extra tc slots lmao
Most of the time when I want to add an extra gift for the fun I give Subeautique Invitations, Raffle Tickets, Magical Keepsake boxes, Phugs and Wizard tokens or random items I know my friends hoard :)

I often give a set of holiday themed treats to my friends, like the present cookies, hot cocoa, peppermint anything. and/or a matching set of winter clothes, like hats/mittens or jammies. Just something to show you put thought into it.
Seconding currencies. Super practical. If not used then, they can be stockpiled for next holiday set of items. A total win.
I like using holiday themed items like who doesn't like hot chocolate? Or chestnuts?
Past year's melody items are usually cute enough if you're running out of ideas. I like adding them to wishlist items or currencies to give gifts a more festive feel.
are especially cute O
