I'm finding it very unintuitive how to do something that seems like it should be simple. I must be missing something!

So I click "Edit Your Profile", where i am presented with 2 options: "Update Order" and "Add Content". The Add Content seems to work as you would expect as I have added a couple boxes. However I cannot figure out how to use the Update Order - or even what it actually is supposed to do. I assumed it somehow allows us to move the boxes into different columns, which is exactly what I am wanting to do next. I've seen in other posts that you are to click and drag the boxes around... but I can't find where to click that allows you to drag. I have seen that I can click on any image and drag to a text box and have the url associated with that image placed there. That's cool. But everywhere else i click and drag just selects the text on the screen like when you're doing a standard copy and paste kind of thing.

My next question would be where to go, or how to show, the html that i see so much of on the forums - as it pertains to the user profile specifically. I've only found a CSS box on the Dashboard that would affect every page I visit on subeta.

What am I missing? I hope it's not brain cells... :/

P.S. I've tried with Chrome and Firefox.

Cannot Move Profile Sections Around you should be able to click any part of a section to move it, but that function might be broken for some browsers? surprisingly, clicking and dragging profile sections is still working on safari, so if you have access to that, you're in business.

you can style your profile on this page - https://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=profile (profile tab, the third link after custom css and themes), iirc you'll need to have the "profile" section up on your profile to make any changes on the preferences page visible.

Thank you for your help and the link to others having the same problem. I just tried Safari, and no go there either unfortunately. I think I've seen where a help request/ticket can be made, so I think I'll try that later.

I now understand that we have the ability of 'styling' our profile by using the text box on the profile tab of our Dashboard. Thanks again!

oh man, i was hoping it was a browser-only issue since i can still move things; hopefully it won't be too difficult for or one of the other programmers to fix o:

There is a staff post on the issue in the thread you posted earlier now. Looks like a bug that is in the queue to be worked on.

the way i did it was [ topic=### ], but you also could do [ url]link[/url ] or [ url=link]text[/url ]! you can see all the scode here, it's also linked in the sidebar :)
