EDIT: Hit the wrong button.

I just found this. Now, I'm no biologist but I'm sure that spines don't work like that! So, that and the legs, not to mention the object between the wing and neck, made me wonder - real or a kite? :P

Ooh, good catch! It's cool to see all different sorts of pet colors in the land maps. Neat!

Yeah, it makes everything look more alive and tied together! I love discovering little details like this.

Yeah same! And like with the Omen Islands map how all of the animals are out during the day and then most of them are sleeping at night. Also the tides and the lighting changes and stuff, the maps are pretty cool now and it does make it easier to envision being there.

Yisss! I love these little details in Subeta's maps and I prefer them over all the animated flash-based ones that were all the rage for a while. D: When so many things are moving, your eyes don't know what to look at.

Omen Islands map is gorgeous, I just wish there were a few more things to do there. :(

Yeah I don't mind the still image maps as long as the art is still pretty and engaging. Easier to load on the computer too, and doesn't lag while trying to play the animation bits.

I'm looking forward to the new Centropolis west side map that we're supposed to be getting at some point. Subeta's artists have really been killing it lately with everything.

Was just looking at the map recently and I thought it was a rreign with a braided tail or something.. can't believe I didn't consider that it was nostalgic!
