When using the autopricer, it prices your item at the lowest price, even If there are 10 others with the same low price. This causes my items to sit and sit. to fix this, I suggest the autopricer price items exactly 1 sp below the lowest price, so there wont be several other items at the same low price. I recently tried autoprice and now half of my items are the lowest price and are by themselves, and the other half are a lowest price with a bunch of others at the same price, and its gonna suck going back and fixing everything.
Sorry if I worded this terribly, hopefully you guys will understand anyway.

Except, this would never work, and it would end up not being of any use to anyone. If it did price everything just below the lowest price at that time, you'd be undercut very quickly by the next person to autoprice. At least if your items are the same as several other items on the list, there's still the chance someone will buy them. With this suggestion, your items would quickly be out of contention.
As it is, the perks of autopricing balance nicely with hand pricing; one gives you convenience, the other gives you the ability to undercut others. It is up to you which to value more.
but those who restock are undercut all the time regardless of autoprice or not because thats just how the economy works.

I don't object to adding this feature to autoprice but it will not solve the stated "problem".
no sorry this is not how -this- economy works.
Rare items are price supported, and less rare items value changes according to quest grantor demand, beast demand, and frag demand. I undercut by hand-pricing because it amuses me to quicksale, not because it is in any way necessary.. If a shop gets clogged with cheap items, I will either frag them or send them to another shop I autoprice because eventually and patiently some time later, they will sell.
If it kept autopricing everyone's stuff that way eventually the items would all end up at zero. I'm going to say no support for this.
No this seems like a bad idea, as Iridescent just said above, things would quickly spiral to being priced at 1 or 0 sp
No support As others have said, item value with continue to drop and you will still end up with other items priced the same as yours or cheaper than yours.
If this was implemented, we'll have common items priced at 1 sP, which is great for making a profit while questing, but not worth it for the seller. When that happens, its only worth it to frag those items. Rare Items might see a price drop, but I doubt it would be much because the cheap ones will be bought quickly and the price should stay stable.
I hand price my shop and I price most items at the lowest current price because I want a quick sale. Will I get undercut? Sure, but I'm not to worried about it. GA's can autoprice once a day for free, so if you autoprice in the morning, your listing won't be at the top all day, it will get knocked down, as mentioned, and the price will still have to be 'fixed' later. The economy doesn't rely on undercutting and it never should. I remember years ago (many, many years ago) when undercutting got out of hand and there were forum threads complaining about this practice and asking something to be done.
I fully support this suggestion! I want 1sp items for sale again. I can buy them alll up and frag to my heart's content. I've been on site for years and I remember the days of things regularly selling for 100sp and under. Grabbing those up and fragging, or saving them for the beast (depending on which items they were). It was glorious!
Yes please!
