For my pet Proof, I've been making sure he tries every alcohol, so I've been saving a few of the items out of Gunther's shop.
The last of these items are: [item2=Keg of Rosbier][item2=Strange Ale Barrel][item2=Traveler Keg][item2=Beer Keg][item2=Metal Beer Keg][item2=Small Wooden Keg] along with [item2=Six Pack of Hard Cider][item2=Six Pack of Amber Ale][item2=Six Pack of Stout][item2=Six Pack of Pilsner]
Let's assume that based on the items/descriptions, that the first two kegs are full kegs with 50 liters, and the rest average 25 liters. With the four six packs at 2.13 liters each, that brings us to an average of about 163 L. If our beer averages out to 5% alcohol by volume, it's around 8 liters of pure ethanol.
Subetapedia says that Anyus weigh 181-408 kg on average. Proof is quite bit, so we're going to say 400kg to put him on the high end. For the blood volume, I don't have any numbers on bears, but cows have about 55 ml of blood per kilogram weight. If we bump it up to say 60 (since bears are a bit more active), we're looking at 24 liters of blood for Proof.
I think you can see where this is going. In total, Proof's blood alcohol content is now 25%, that's 25.0% not 0.25%. His veins had to stretch out by 15% across the board just to accommodate the extra volume.
I'm quite a bit late to post during Alegarten, but it's still a fun fact to share.
"The interesting hyperbolic structures on a pair of pants are easily classified" -Wikipedia, Pair of pants
So what I'm hearing is that if I really want to get messed up, I should be drinking your Anyu's blood? DULY NOTED.
"So I gave my pet some beer" "some beer" "SOME"
I think we have a drastically different idea on what that word means, . [sub]but username checks out.[/sub]
be careful. don't pop 'em. they're gross. ha.
