I thought it was a periodic glitch just on commenting directly from the "gifts received" page, but I found that I also can't comment on my friends list from the drop down menu either w/out getting an indirect error/site page-stuffed-into-a-small-but-long-comment box ... thing.
Have all experienced similar.
Yep. Same. With these not working you have to go to someone's profile and it's difficult to reply sometimes if someone doesn't have the comment box up on their profile. Hope this gets fixed among all the other little things going on.

Another comments related issue. Many times it happened to me that I wrote a comment but I clicked on "reply" and not "leave comment" by accident (I'm still adjusting to the new page) and then all the things that I wrote are gone and I need to write it all over again.. Before the change it used to save what you wrote even when the comment pop up closed and then opened again. Can this "save" come back to the issue that I stated above?
I understand your problem but I'm afraid I can't. I recommend copying your comment before submitting the reply so that, if something goes wrong, the comment is still saved on your clipboard. That's what I do for longer replies, because sometimes I'll misclick as well, or other things could happen like if the page just doesn't load.

that was the same to me, comment box goes open, but after send friend no got... if u use the reply button or P2P the same, write, post but nothing goes on... now i save my text and if i see its' not post, i have to go in profile from a friend and post there... if she have a comment box, if not i must use mail... is a long way sometimes...
