Hi everybody, I'm a bit lost with how to get a good set for my Bucky. He's in tier nine but often losses or ties with opponents who have similar stats while I see other people beat higher stats with their tier 8 or 7 (even 6 once) pet which makes me wondering what am I doing wrong?

His stats/armory/scrolls are as follow:

Stats Level: 618 (Not touching anymore after making a very huge mistake). Strength: 1,400 Defense: 1,400 Speed: 1,304 <- (Will get worked on after health). Health: 1,370 HP: 1,352/1,370 <- Currently working on to get to 1,400 Intelligence: 1,356

His armory

Bought:

Scrolls Crystalline Blow. Vengeful Tide. Poisonous Barrage.

Could anymore help me to get a good set which would fit with Bucky (tier 9).

@ Dunja Ooh your armory is in dire need of an upgrade. First thing, It's probably the cheapest thing I'm gonna list, and you will never take it back out of your set once you have it. Once per battle full heal. You'll also want a freezer, so... is a cheap, quick option there. It's available in the battle shop for 35 hard tokens. Eventually you'll want to upgrade to which is also from the battle shop.

Next you're going to want to focus on some constants. Those are your two main weapons that will do some damage, defense, and healing all in one. Depending on how much you're willing to invest in that, I would recommend . It can be transformed into a blessed version for T8+ pets. If you're on a bit of a budget, you could probably get by for a while with . It's a genetech combo made from millionaire center items. You could also go for which scales with your pet, but it can't be used alongside the trident. (90% heal, some defense, once per battle) and (blast an opponent's weapon, semi-random curse) are both awesome, and available in the antique shop for about 60 mil each.

For your scrolls, is great. will also be great at your tier. It heals 1500 hp once per battle, so for you it'd be a full heal. They're pretty pricy at the moment though. After the reset, there will probably be quite a few more out there so the price should drop.

Whew, long post is long. But let me know your budget and whatnot, and I can make some better suggestions. Just didn't want to overwhelm you with crazy expensive stuff. Also some of this stuff isn't very clear, so feel free to ask if I need to clarify anything!

That's a good, budget set, without getting into godlies that are gonna be 3-400 mil+ each. [edit] So I thought on it a bit, and I'm not sure I would recommend the knocker at your level. It's 75 mil and you'll outgrow it soon. If somebody has a better suggestion for a constant, there's definitely some out there. Just none I can think of right now.

Thank you so much for your time and clear explanation. I have currently around 134 mil but I'm working on getting more sP everyday so I can buy the armory I need now I know what to buy :) (I don't have really a solid budget in mind)

I just have bought both the and I'm going to work on my Simple Energized Turret to upgrade it to make an Intricate Energized Helmet in the meanwhile.

I do have one question. Do I also need to make modifications to any of them? Or are they just fine as they are?

Oh for sure, mod whatever you can. I personally put crit strike on my bombs and either parched or blessing of natural armor on everything else. Parched tear crystals add one fire and one water icon each. Parched baguettes add two of each. Both activate a 5-turn blessing that prevents freezing. Tear crystals have a 5% chance, and the baguettes have a 10% chance of activating.

BoNA doesn't add damage, but activates a 3-turn blessing that prevents both freezing and stealing. I like to have a mixture of the two so one or the other is always active.

You'll pretty much never use any other mods.

Also, get rid of your Blunderbuss and add the weapon I sent you. Your set's biggest issue right now is that your constants don't heal. This'll tide you over.

That's good to know otherwise I might would have used the wrong ones. I tried to use them in the past (and it never worked out because I just added without thinking). I'm finally beginning to understand how this works.

Thank you, that's so kind of you. I have removed the Blunderbuss completely and added the weapon you have send me. (Seriously thank you so much). You have made me excited for battling again :)

[edit] I just tried already one battle with a opponent who's stronger than him and he beat him without trouble. This is amazing!

There's your other constant, you should be set for a while with those.

This is a good guideline to see where your weapons should be at your tier.

You can benefit a lot from having an infinite use healing scroll. Aftershocks is one of the best out there currently, but if you don't want to spend so much now, I'd recommend that you get another cheaper infinite use healing scroll now. Other options are: - heals 10% - heals 5% and blocks a ton of icons - heals 10% and has a small attack and defense. Probably better to go for Aftershocks instead of getting this - heals 4% and does a bit of damage - heals -3 to 10% (yes, that's a possible negative heal there) and has a small attack and some defense. I never tried this one myself, but the people who do use it report that the negative heal doesn't occur very often.

Hey Lost, is Aftershocks a good long term scroll to invest in, and is 94mill a decent price for it, seems like someone, cough colddragon cough has them all hoarded up

Edit-Just realized that the reset will mean more of the challenger items available. That's great news and should mean prices will come down a bunch

BTW she doesn't hoard them up off the shop search, she wins them, with like 20 tier 11 + pets or something insane like that.

Yes, but not everyone has 94 mil laying around. Might as well grab a Singed Stuffing for 5000 sp and wait for the price of the Aftershocks to come down after the 11th of November.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have bought the and I'm going to see if the others will lower the price down after the reset ;)

(and I might going to try out the Assassin Scroll now I'm curious).

Pretty convenient that Nov 11 is around the corner. Am I correct in saying that for the shrieks people generally use a bunch of them to take down specific opponents, by chain freezing them? And is it better to just have 1 or 2 and borrow them as needed?
