So we all hate it. Having to have the and locked in our inventories, taking up that space
What if we could transform the items in to permanent perks? The catch is that once you do that you lose the item forever. Maybe, like the extra pet slots, you can only get it while you're a GA member, but the perk doesn't disappear when your GA runs out
I probably will have the unpopular opinion here, but I don't support. I want to keep the items. Subeta has destroyed its 'lore' items before in the past (identity star shuriken, the mystical montre/donadak plushie, etc), and it's always replaced with some point and click, pay-for-it perk and it's just so boring.
The inventory has what, 100 slots? I don't mind dedicating two of them to the lizard items. Just my two cents.
Considering I have had both of these locked in my inventory forever taking up space I would gladly trade one or both of them in so I could have a couple locked slots for other things.
Heck I wouldn't even mind if we had to pay 2-5mil initially to keep them permanently attached to our accounts.
The only issue I see here about having them both turned in is that there's the achievement(s) for comatose lizards. I think how it worked is having just the trap to possibly get the item and a comatose lizard, I could be remembering wrong though. I've only caught one comatose lizard and I can't remember if I had the spray in my inventory at the time too or not haha.

Support. I'd love to free up those inventory slots. Can't see the harm in being able to trade the items in for a permanent perk. Either way, the items are out of circulation if the owner has no intention of selling them. Why not let us keep the benefits of the trap and spray without them wasting space?
If it's an option, the items are still there for people who like them as items. Don't have to destroy them if you don't want to.
I saw this idea pop up before in a Site Feedback topic about the lizards.
Full support for freeing up locked item space and having an option to turn these into permanent account perks.
Make the trap and spray buffs redeemable for a fee. Pay 10m to Ian Aasmodeus to have them added as a permanent account perk. That way, the trap and spray will still be around as items in the MC, they can be used as TC fodder, gallery stock, whatever you like. You could still keep them in your inventory to catch lizards, but anyone who wants to free up inventory space can pay to clear up those locked item slots. Having both the account perk and the trap+spray in your inventory wouldn't stack (b/c why would it need to, the rate is already 100% for the trap and spray).
Granted, I don't know how much of a coding nightmare that would be, but it seemed like a good solution. :'|
Ooh, I like this idea a lot! Maybe include a warning about potentially missing out on the achievements when transforming them?
I like this suggestion a lot, minus involving activating a GA. It’s just not worth it to me unless having one really benefits me during a site event or something. Having more use of my locked inventory slots would be much better than keeping the lizard items in there.

I completely support this idea. If we want to keep the items and also the perk of having them associated with our inventory to stop the pesky lizard then we should go buy two of them.
Public Ping Group - Xanadu Galleria and RAE Collab
I really really extremely want:I'd only support this as an option. So like if you could buy the items and choose to activate them as an account perk or keep them, that would be perfect imo. Even beyond having all the "lore" items vanish it would suck to have such unique items for TCs/galleries vanish.
lmao no this would mess with so much stuff, both personal and commercial they work perfectly as they are, and taking space in our inventory is the little downside of those beauties (not everything has to bee all flowers and sunshine)
I completly second this.
i'm ambivalent about turning them into item-less buffs/account perks, but in the meantime i would rather have a genetec combo that squishes the items together so i only have to lock one item. (i first saw that idea in a feedback thread a while ago, and i've been quietly hoping for it since.)
