I know it doesn't guarantee a minion, but I swear it was far more effective last year.

Put it on my avatar yesterday (it's hiding under the other layers). I've double checked it's on there. Definitely wearing it. Haven't seen a single minion in the Patch so far. I've been several times, and figure I would have found at least one by now.

This is such a pain. I'm trying to get the special minion for the achievement, but when I can't even seem to find any minions at all... I'm seriously questioning if the Nip is doing its job. And when one year I put so much effort into getting the achievement for the latest special minion, and still never found it, it's disheartening to think the same thing might happen again. :(

There have been huge wardrobe changes since the last Morostide event. Is it possible items like the Minion Nip aren't working as they should because some code or something related to them got left out? :/

I have gotten like 50-75% minions from the patch. I know that bug checked the monocle and sage and they were working as intended so I think the nip is too. It definitely is working super well for me. (I haven't found the special one this year yet though)

Hopefully I'm just being super unlucky then!

I got Echo twice last night in the span of five hours, are you selecting the correct zone? There are zones in the patch that yield more minions than others.

I've checked the guide for this year, which says Echo is in Zone 1. So I've been visiting that one each time.

I did get Snowflaik not long after making the post, so I am finally starting to get minions. Going to see how many I get over the next couple of days

Can this be left open for a couple of days while I keep a record of how many minions I'm getting? Then if it is something other than just bad luck, I'll have some info to share if it does need investigating further.

I just got the Echo, and that was my first special minion this year, and I got the nip on since day 1. I too feel like I got a ton more minions last year, but since Morostide is now lasting longer, we also have more time for it. And honestly, I think last year I got a rediculous amount of the special minions, so I'm ok with getting a bit fewer this year. I hope you get it soon!

Okay, I've been recording my visits to the Pumpkin Patch over the last couple of days, and this doesn't seem right to me. Here's what I've got:

Checked for Minion Nip on avatar again. Definitely on.

Out of 31 visits to Zone 1 of the Pumpkin Patch over the last two days, I've received FOUR minions. That seems rather low for having the Nip equipped.

Stranger still, the first two minions were both Snowflaik. The third and fourth, both Pumpkamole.

I can't believe this is just "bad luck".

Okay. I swear it was working better last year, but maybe I was just being super lucky then. xD

If what I've recorded supports that it's working as intended, fair enough. Thanks for your help! c:
