I had a look through the Topics and couldn't see anything about reading improvements (please direct me to one if I missed it!).

I'd love to see a new interface to be able to read a book to a pet quicker, as I'm (and I'm sure other have) currently reading numerous books to pets but it takes quite a long time. The way I'm imagining it would be a mixture between the Collections. With your active pet (name) at the top (with the option to switch pet), but then either a "move to collection/read all books to pets" option or you could click and choose separately which book to read. I think choosing which books to read is probably better, so maybe the link could be "see what books your pet has read".

I know they're working on a redesign of the "use on/read to" page for items, so I'd be curious to see how that turns out first, but this could definitely be a neat GA perk for those who are just starting out with training and still have 200+ books to read to their pet for those sweet sweet alchemy points.

I didn't think of GA, but yes I agree! Definitely a good GA perk. Yeah that's precisely why I'm going through this at the moment, training up a couple of pets!

I think we should bribe NPC Alexander to read books to our pets. Give him a queue of books from Inventory and for a fee he reads each one to a selected pet, over time. Each book takes x hours/minutes to read.

This is an excellent idea! It would be a great perk that may help encourage more users to obtain a GA? I know I'm tired of having to select each individual book, read it to my pet (and confirm the pet), and then get another page before I can go back to my inventory.

And, that's also another great idea. I'd honestly be willing to pay a fee to queue some books with an NPC and have them read to my pet over time. I just want the process to be less tedious.

I would like a read all tad to be added when I buy books I buy 10 so I can read to each pet but it would be so much better if could just push 1 tab and all books would be read

I think this is a good idea (though my main pet has read so many books, its rare for me to get more than 1 unread book in inventory at a time).

Just wondering how/where you would trigger the book reading system? On the pet page, through the menu, some other way?

For me its something that I would probably only use during events where a bunch of new books are released at once into a special currency shop, so I would want it somewhere up front and center where I wouldn't forget about it.

I'm doing mass reading for the 35, 36 and 37th time. Anything that could speed up this process would be great.

My main pet is my battler, gourmand, and reader, so I don't have the issue of reading the same thing to multiple pets. But I support this nonetheless. For Luminaire, I received a ton of books under my tree (thanks!) that I had to go through. Setting up a queue would be a fun feature.

I would like something implemented for faster reading too. I like to read lots of books to all of my pets so they have higher intelligence for job promotions, sometimes it will take me hours to read to all of them when I get lots of books. What I do is I just order my pets by who I want to read the most books to first so the top priority pets are on the top of the list when I click on a book. So a better system I think could include reading all books you have in hands to your pets in an order you specify and maybe even remove from the list any pets you dont want to read to. This could fit so neatly with the idea of having alexander read the books to your pets automatically too!

If only the site reacted faster, finding, retrieving and reading an AP worth books wouldn't take a full hour, like it did for me a few days ago!!!

I like this idea a ton! It gets tedious after a while when you have to go one after another to read a good handful of books. I also like that idea that this should be a GA feature.
